Citysider Cairns Holiday Apartments  

Value for money. Everything needed was in the unit. Handy position. Only 10 minute walk to town. Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy parking.

Hot water system too small or needed increase in temperature. Aircon vents needed cleaning. Bathroom needs renovating.

I liked that the accommodation was very central to our needs. The managers were excellent - very friendly and knowledgable. The apartments were a very good size for a family and the whole site was very well maintained. For the purpose of our stay and the type of accommodation it suited our needs perfectly.

I did not like the noise from the trains, although the number of trains daily were minimal, the fact that the accommodation is right next to the railway crossing meant that the trains were required to sound their horn on approach and it was very early in the morning. The smell of cigarette smoke wafting up from apartments below meant that you could not sit on the balcony and enjoy the fresh air or the balcony doors had to be closed if inside.

Teresea was very friendly, helpful n professional. The apartment was spacious n clean. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine. A lovely surprise n warm hospitable touch. We had all we needed for the week. The apartment was close to shops, beach n easy access to the botanical gardens n mountains.

Therese, our hostess, was just lovely !! Two bedroom apartment was great and just what we needed for 2 adults & 2 kids (11 & 8). 10 min walk to town. Highly recommend !

The apartment was very clean and spacious. The management were very friendly and helpful.

The noise of the larger vehicles going over the train tracks at the crossing was intrusive. The problem was solved by shutting the window!

Grosses Appartement mit allem Komfort, wie Küche mit Backofen, eigene Waschmaschine mit Tumbler. Nette Patrons (Deutsch- Schweizer). Gepflegte Anlage mit grossem Pool.

Das Appartment war groß und hervorragend ausgestattet und hatte zwei Schlafzimmer und Balkon. Zu jedem Appartment gibt es einen eigenen PKW-Stellplatz. Das Citysider besitzt einen recht großen und sehr schönen Pool und alle möglichen Ausflüge in und um Cairns lassen sich direkt und unkompliziert an der Rezeption buchen. Das Citysider wird von einem Schweizer Ehepaar betreut, das an Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft nicht zu überbieten ist.

Nicht wirklich ein Problem, aber zu beachten: In Cairns befindet man sich in den Tropen, man hat also schon mal einiges Getier mit in der Wohnung (Ameisen, auch eine Schabe kam aus dem Schrank gekrochen). Außerdem wird Cairns jeden Abend von einer Horde Flughunde heimgesucht, die sich mit Vorliebe über die Mangobäume hermachen, von denen auch zwei im Citysider stehen. Und diese Flughunde machen ordentlich Krach.

スタッフの女性が大変温かく対応してくださり、空港までのタクシーチャーターなどの場面で助かりました。 家族三人(大人)で滞在しましたが、バルコニーで食べた朝食は最高でした。 外食より家族でご飯を作ってゆっくりしたい方にオススメのアパートメントしないタイプの施設です。

徒歩ではちょっとCITY中心まで遠いかな…

歩いてすぐそばにお店があるとはいえないけど、(美味しい珈琲屋はある) 私達は自転車を借りてスーパーまで買い出しに行きました。

Citysider Apartments有个男经理态度很恶劣,宰客,该店的条款写明加一张床一天加收$20,但该男经理硬是一天加收$25.顾客问为什么,他说:"你再迟一下付款就一天加收$30".如此疯狂宰客的行为令人发指!有甚于强盗!! Citysider Apartments have a male manager attitude is very bad, rip off, the clause indicate an extra bed charge $20 a day, but the male manager just one day charge $25. Customer asked why, he said: "you again late once payment is one day be $30". So crazy rip off behavior outrageous! With more than the robber!!

Big swimming pool great for kids and location OK as could walk to central city and Esplanade. Very quiet at night and staff very helpful and friendly, even providing extra cutlery on Christmas Day for our visiting family members. Nice gardens, good BBQ area and generally comfortable apartment. Tour desk very helpful with Cairns attractions.

Most days was too hot to walk to city during the day so had to take taxis. Too far for kids (age 10 and 7) to walk during heat of day. Aircon units in rooms old and a very noisy at night so we put the aircon on in the living area, turned off the bedroom units and used fans. Bed not great but it wasn't an expensive appartment so shouldn't expect luxury appointments.
