City Waters

I liked its central location and outlook. I enjoyed walking along the river path to the Barrak Street wharf. I also enjoyed the privacy of the units.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in City Waters. My room was made and the rubbish cleared each morning. They maintained cleaniness at a 5 star standard. Good job

The unit was quiet, clean and comfortable, the staff both administration and domestic were extremely helpful. All the facilities necessary for a short stay including cLaundry and self contained kitchen were available and in good working order.

could use a little modernising, internal lining of the painted brickwork , replacement carpets and rupgrading the old cupboards would greatly improve the rooms.Car parking was a problem, limited spaces and very tight.

This is the second time I have stayed at City Waters - this time for four weeks (business). I like the self contained kitchen, the bedroom is large and there is a good table to work at. Windows can be opened, noise is generally acceptable. I feel somewhat at home with the old style decor ! Wireless Broadband works fine here (Three, but Telstra also has a strong signal).

Lack of a recycling bin - apparently this was abused in the past and has been removed by the council, but the Hotel could put one in an out of the way spot for well trained people. Some people may not like the limited vanity space. Another dryer in the laundry would be handy. I scored an iron and small ironing board, which wasn't available last time I visited.

Its convenient location to the city, and being able to walk everywhere.

Other than being an older establishment in dire need of updating, the walls needed cleaning, and there was mould growing in the bathroom, the kitchen/bathroom needed a really good scrub.

Clean, comfortable rooms that allow us to relax after a day out,heating and cooling good with good Kitchen and very tidy bathroom.

City Waters is accessible, has car parking for clients and has self contained units. I like being independent as far as meals are concerned - not having to go out and pay big dollars for a meal is important.

I like the kitchen and other facilities. It is very near to access to all amenities. Good for a stay with family and do site seeing.

Staff, although made the effort to be helpfull, didn't know much about local area. The rooms are from the sixties, extremely outdated and run down. Beds uncomfortable, made massive rattling noise when you moved. Got supplied cot for baby and it still had food crumbs etc in it. Nearby hotel, very noisy. But, suppose OK for one or 2 nights.

Check in was good, room had good facilities and was very clean.
