Room was modern & comfortable. Great pool.
Restaurant was too limited.
friendly helpful staff and excellent food
Dated, needing update, room facilities very ordinary. Electrical faulty. For a tourist destination, some limited in room food preparation such as toast, should be allowed.
Friendly and helpful staff Location was good New bathroom
Few lights in the room didn't work Bedding was curtain material
Just off the main road, made it a very quiet location. Plenty of parking. Good access to public transport & within good walking distance to the town.
Good location Having a balcony a big plus
Hallways were quite dirty Pictures weren't hung straight Hot/cold tap in shower back to front Fridge wasn't cold
That is wasn't to far to shops and beaches
1. the upkeep was poor 2. drink prices were too dear 3. the mattress was not comfy we had springs in our back all night 4. the rooms smelt like smoke really badly. 5. the jug for the water in the fringe had mold in it ! 6. the pool was dirty 7. there was no blankets in the room so we froze all night, and could ring reception as they were closed by the time we got back to the room and realized.

Deluxe rooms are spacious.
Trash and bin bags sitting in front of my room for 2 days. Noise from buses early morning. Rooms were not clean (hairs on walls and shower)
For young travellers, the location and proximity to bars would have been ideal. It was easy to take a very short bus trip to town, or Shute Harbour, which was where most trips run from.
The rooms were clean on the surface, but very dusty and full of ants. Much of the interior was also dirty, such as curtains and walls, and the bathroom ceiling was mouldy. Admittedly, we only experienced one room out of many, and had we drawn it to the attention of staff we may have been moved. Our ground floor room was noisy, as was our friends' room next door.
We had a neat and tidy room, very comfy bed and lovely view from the balcony of the bay. The atmosphere in the common area is very appealing and I wish we could stay longer to enjoy that.
The corridor to the room was a bit dusty and unclean and felt like the only area not looked after as well as the rooms.
This was ok to stay for short term . Pool was Great .
Comforable and very affordable
Too noisy at 3 am. more suited to the younger generation who like to party. Unable to sleep because of parties.
Great facilities friendly helpful staff.
The staff was amazing and very accommodating
The food was, cold, not cooked well what their was in the poor excuse of a buffet. chef looked a bit how you going.. Defently not worth paying 25 a head.. The bar was not stocked.. Could not get cocktails as no ingredients.. No milk in room or water filled.. Have to pay a hefty 20 dollars just to get a pool towel.. ( you do get money back once returned) we only slept their as we couldn't do anything else
even though I did not use the pool it looked good and the kids were having a wonderful time.
furniture in the room looked really shabby.the place was quite dated and I felt that what we paid was not as good value for money compared to some of the accommodation we had in Airlie Beach
lack of staff. staff there did all they could but service suffered badly because of the lack of staff. whole place needs a .rejuvenation
The receptionist was very friendly on arrival although her day had been very hectic.
I found the person who answered the phone when I rang for a booking quite rude. Our room was clean, however no blanket on a top sheet and a cover and nothing extra suppplied in the cupboards. I would not recommend eating at the restaurant. We got down to the buffet a little before 7 to be greeted with near no food but were told there was some more food on it's way. We decided to stick around ($25 per head). My friends and partner got what they could and then I went up. I got a small piece of fish and some baked potato. The potato was inedible. Dirty dishes filled the bench behind us with no attempt being made to move it that when a young girl bought her dirty dishes up, a big pile fell crashing to the ground. At this point my friend and I went to reception with our concerns and we were offered a full refund for our ($100) meal. We also wanted a cocktail to which they had no ingredients to make any at all. We were there on a Saturday night with cocktail hour being advertised as being only an hour before.
The manager and staff were great.
It was very run down. Not worth $175 per night. If we had got the standby rates of $99 it would have been better value. Limited staff were on. Restaurant was closed. Cold breaky only. No coffee beans apparently for the entire week we were there?....
Staff very lax, chef rude and served uncooked food, no lighting in stairwells, room not properly clean, mites in room, many people smoking and we could smell it coming into our room. Not suited to families-really only suited to younger people looking to party. Food overpriced
Rooms were good, more lounges in bistro would have been nice.
There wasn't enough staff. Meals were very ordinary and over priced. No hot breakfast option.
A lift to second floor
Not enough pillows chairs not good for older people very off balance
Very helpful staff and tolerant had some high needs guest with us and the were pleased with the staff
The food wasn't that great not bad just not great
