Located on 27 acres of natural bush land, each cottage is set apart for total privacy, We have resident kangaroos which you will see each morning and evening, Each cottage is fully self contained with a wood fire, two person spa set in a glass bay window, seperate lounge area with TV, DVD and CD player. Nearby is the Yarra Valley & many beautiful little towns within the Dandenong Ranges. Bacon, eggs, cereal, bread, juice & other goodies are provided for your relaxed breakfast.

Hello! I'm Ryleigh. my partner Garth & I run the cottages here in Cockatoo. We are country people at heart growing up in East Gippsland & have been living in the area of the Dandenong Ranges for the last few years. Please get in touch if there is anything at all we can do to make your stay more welcome. We know all of the good cafes & restaurants!

We are situated in a fantastic part of Victoria close enough to commute to the city but far enough away to enjoy the peace and the natural bush. Our closest neighbour is 1km from each cottage. We are located off a main road for easy access and total privacy asured. Enjoy your getaway and see the sights. Visit a local café and take a ride on the famous Puffing Billy. Check out the Wright Forest nearby and trek along the Gembrook trail. This forest is home to many animal species such as the brush tail possums, wombats and many bird species. After a day of sight seeing, fill the spa, light the fire and pour yourself a wine from a local vineyard in The Yarra Valley and have a night in at the comfortable and relaxing Cockatoo Cottages.
