Comfort Inn & Suites Burwood  

Quiet. Very clean. Food ok. Easy walk to Westfield Burwood.

No wireless. Needs more on television as no other facilities.

Loved the décor - particularly the beautiful floor tiles. Room was clean, comfortable, suited all our needs. Reception staff lovely. Location was central to various places we were visiting during our stay, free parking, close to public transport, shopping centres

could not get prime on tv in the lounge room and traffic was a bit noisy

It suited our needs, wasn't too far from train station, could have caught a bus but chose to walk to station and then 10 minute ride to city. Being self contained suited us too. There was parking too which is great.

There was a light outside our room that was flashing, like the starter was gone, it disturbed us a bit and wasn't fixed while we were there but that could be due to the weekend and not being able to get a repair person to come???

Too noisy , had restless sleep every night . traffic noise from Liverpool Road goes 24/7. I had unit 32

Rooms were clean and comfortable

Traffic noise on Hume Hwy was noticable both late at night and early morning Initial check in was a very slow process for tired travellers Otherwise all good.

I met some really nice people who also stayed at the motel.

The room was noisy. The room was excessively light. The room was marginally clean when I arrived. There is a distinct charcoal smell to the room. It is like there had been a fire in the room and a poor attempt to cover it up was made. My room was "cleaned" on the 2nd day of my 3 night stay. It was clearly cleaned with dirty equipment/cloths. The shower / bath had numerous black hairs around it,,,,, I do not have dark or black hair, and they had not been there when I had my shower! The floor was dirty

The services offered were good, the food from the restruant were good and value for money. The bathroom was a little mouldy and the tv's should really be flat screen and 16x9 now but overall it is a nice place with good service. We will stay again when we are in sydney. My occupation is a hotel maintenance manager.

Everything was fine and as expected. Great location for access to Olympic Park.

We liked the fact that it was in close proximity to Sydney Olympic Park and Westfield Burwood. It was also easy to get around the facility with the lift. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. It was also great having a cafe at the facility - easy to have a quick meal before settling in.

We didn't like the layout of our room. The bed was exposed to the huge draft that came in under the door (there was a massive gap between the floor and the door) - we had to use towels too keep the cold draft out at night. The bathroom was also a little annoying as there was no shower screen or curtain, it made the entire bathroom wet and slippery every time someone used the shower. The basin also had a little shelf right above it that you had to be careful not to bang your head on if you were washing your face or brushing your teeth - it wasn't a good set-up. Our sheets also smelt like car oil? It was weird. The car park was a worry as well - you couldn't see if someone was coming down the driveway and around the corner until you turned the corner yourself, we almost had a run-in with a few cars coming and going, you have to be super careful.

Room was modern and nicely furnished. It had all the facilities required in a hotel room. The mini-bathtub was a nice bonus. Tiles on floor were nice. More hygienic than carpet.

The room could have been cleaner, there was a soap mark on the handbasin where a cake of soap had previously been. There was a bit of dust on surfaces, particularly the shelves in the bathroom and near the tea/coffee making tray. The bathroom was a bit mouldy. The shower rose intermittently dripped. I could not turn it off tight enough to stop it when it was dripping, then it would stop for an hour or so, then continue to drip again. The handbasin taps were loose and the entire unit moved when you put the tap on. The cold tap handle in the shower was loose and fell off.

well located for going to an early morning function nearby

potentially very heavy traffic noise if your room is at the front, near Hume Highjway (ours was not)
