on main road that runs through Apollo bay, the room was large and had everything u needed.close to bars and restaurants.
shower was a bit small
5 of us stayed in a 2 levels room overnight on the way to 12 apostles. Room was good, had everything we need and was fully air conditioned. Beds were comfy and my guests enjoyed free wifi. Staff was super friendly and helpful.
The friendliness of staff and very clean room.
The bed was too hard
The Hotel was near the beach and restaurants. The personal was very friendly and helpfull.
Staf were helpful.
Location is ok. Free parking in front of the room. Room is spacious and clean.
The mattress of the baby cot was very thin; too uncomfortable to let a child sleep on it.
Good location in Apollo Bay and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
You are paying for location as the hotel is very overpriced. If you have a choice of where to stay on the GOR, do not choose Apollo Bay as the other areas offer much better value for money. I would rate this hotel as a 2 star, I am not sure how it has 4. The wifi also does not reach all the bedrooms.
Location is central and staff very helpful.
Very expensive compared to other locations along the coast which had much better facilities. Bed was a bit creaky.
Very welcoming at reception and offered excellent advice. Family room was large. Only stayed one night so we didn't use the facilities
Location was perfect and the staff cheery and helpful. Room was basic but fine. Air con was good too.
The cost!!! The same price as three nights in a similar place in Melbourne.
Clean, spacious, friendly staff
One bedroom for $450 is bit expensive for a motel
The location was great and within walking distance of beach, eateries, convenience shops etc. Staff was very pleasant and gave helpful information about places of interest, routes to take, etc.
We were 5 people and the unit had one bathroom and one sink. It was a little inconvenient.
Very helpful owner
Location, tub, updates
The most expensiv motel ever¨¨¨¨!!!!!300 Dollar and no possibilty to sit beside the room outside.
Warm and helpful welcome.
The pool does not deserve the name. It is more of an ornamental pond and not suitable to swim in.
Central location and very pleasant and helpful staff.
Don't like neighbouring resident smoking outside unit. Can smell smoke in our unit next to them.
Helpful staff - provided a microwave on request. Spa was excellent. Plenty of space
Kitchen facilities very limited Bed wasn't very comfortable At $270 / night - Wasn't great value
Staff prepared the room an hour or so in advance which was appreciated. Good supplies of tea/coffee including biscuits and hot chocolate. Comfortable, affordable accommodation in a great location.
I liked the location as it was just in the centre of the town.
There could have been more kitchen facilities.
Location & entertainment for the young kids.
This hotel is conveniently located. Very helpful and friendly staff. The room is clean and comfortable. The Xbox is a surprise to my children and they have a range of games you can choose from. I will strongly recommend to anyone who is travelling to Great Ocean Road.
Staff were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make local recommendations and give advice. The room was clean and spacious and the hotel well located in the town. Good value for money.
Nothing that was not liked.
Location is nice and quiet for one night stop at Apollo Bay on the way to 12 Apostles. There aren't many restaurants but there one good place to have dinner - La Bimba (Australian King Prawn and baby squid dishes were excellent).
Room window has no blackout curtains and see through so it was weird, feeling like someone is looking through the window although there were't anyone walking around that area at night. There was a spare blanket so used it to cover partial of the window.
