Comfortable, spacious room with good bed & TV. Excellent position. In general the room was grubby. Windows filthy. Shower recess broken bits and mouldy. |

We are now home in Victoria and we have stayed in quite a number of motels, etc in the last two weeks. Thus, it is difficult to remember exactly what your hotel was like except that it was the first one we stayed at in Tasmania. I remember the dining room - excellent staff and meal. |

The location was good, just outside the main shopping strip but only a five minute walk to it, and just opposite a park. The room was enormous for the price and the staff were also helpful and friendly. The only problem for travellers with large bags was the necessity of lugging suitcases up a steep driveway and then up and down stairs to get to different levels. However, the receptionist was nice enough to change my room to a ground floor one immediately on noticing my suitcase. |

The staff were very helpful and friendly, the restaurant was excellent. Great food. Close to shops and a botanical park over the road. The bed was very comfortable. I will stay again when in Launceston. |

The location was excellent for me - very close to the city centre, conference centre, churches, sight seeing. Room was clean and uncluttered. Staff were unintrusive and diligent. Room service food was simple and tasty (what I was after!) and service very prompt. I stayed during a football weekend - neighbouring guests were inconisderate during the one evening until about 3am. The staff could address such issues somehow. |

the location was excellent - close to Launceston city facilities and my conference venue. woken at 3am with loud voices outside my room arguing and swearing - couldn't get back to sleep, and disturbed by the impending violence. Thankfully it didn't happen, but the disturbance went on for at least 10 minutes without any response from management. |

The staff were very friendly and willing to accommodate us. We requested to stay another night, they were very happy to help us with what we wanted. None what so ever, the hotel staff member Paula, gave us a choice of two rooms, we selected room number one that over looked the parkland across the street from our room window, it was excellent. |
