Set on a 500-acre rural property, Coodlie Park offers a wilderness experience featuring kangaroos, bird life, emus and wombats. Guests have access to a private beach and cliff top walk with great views. The secluded beach is ideal for fishing. The staff can arrange personal tours of the best local fishing spots, rugged coastlines, natural features and historical sites. The cottages feature a fully self-contained kitchen, air conditioning, refrigerator/freezer and TV with DVD player. Coodlie Park is located on the coast of the Eyre Peninsula, between Mt Camel Beach and the spectacular Talia Caves. It is a 25-minute drive to Lake Newland Conservation Park. Ideally located on the coastal cliff of the Great Australia Bight, Coodlie Park Cottages are fully self-contained 2 bedroom cottage that each have a sofa bed, kitchen facilities and utensils, coffee pod machine, kettle and toaster, fridge/freezer, patio with garden/courtyard views all surrounded by natures playground and an abundance of wildlife. Keep an eye out for Kanagroos, Wombats, Emus, Goats and more from your patio.

Enjoy the peace and relaxation of kicking back around the campfire or watch the magnificent sunsets at our own private beach. Whether it's a digital detox, stargazing, wildlife, seafood or adventure you are seeking, the options are endless. Coodlie Park Eco Retreat is a great base to explore the many sites of the Eyre Peninsula and just five minutes up the road you will find the natural infinity pools, Talia Caves and Mount Camel Beach. You can spot abundant native wildlife while bush walking, go fishing and catch a few to throw on the BBQ for dinner or visit Baird Bay for the incredible experience of swimming with wild sea lions and dolphins.

Access to the private beach is rugged and beautiful, and you can spend hours there taking it all in, watching beautiful sunsets or fishing, with a feeling of connection to the land. Private Beach access is at your own risk and there is a 40m climb down the rocks to the beach, or you can watch the magnificent sunset from the top of the cliffs with a glass of wine in hand!! Other beaches in the area to check out are: Talia Cave and Beach located to the left of Coodlie Park and Mt. Camel Beach is located to the right. Venus Bay is 10 minutes away, is great for fishing both in the bay and off the jetty and is a great spot to enjoying a bevvy at the General Store. Outdoor Adventures If you're feeling adventurous, there are many options, from sheltered waters, rugged coastline, bush and coastal walks. Those with appropriate equipment have windsurfing, sandboarding, rock climbing, hiking, scuba diving and snorkelling. We can help you "link up" with other great tourism businesses on the Eyre Peninsula to ensure that you get the best that the region offers. Such as swimming with dolphins and sea lions at Baird Bay. We can also give you suggested self-drive itineraries exploring national parks and beaches for each day you stay!
