We loved the spa in the room and the proximity to the beautiful Mornington Peninsular coastline. Perfect spot for a romantic picnic as the sun sets. The place was nice and tidy and they provided milk for coffee etc. The pillows were awful, very uncomfortable and the whole bed squeaked all night! Everything needs an upgrade but for what you pay, we were happy!! Hot water system outside our room sounded like a plane taking off most of the night!

We were given a milk for tea and coffee upon arrival. Bed was good The tv reception wasn't the best (only a few average channels).

The BBQ/Gazebo areas and also that it is right opposite the beach and it is walking distance, also a short walk to shops. Curtains, didnt feel like I had privacy, they didnt close properly on one side which was the cedar blinds and the other side material curtains you could see into the room once it was night time.

We found the staff were very approachable, helpful and obliging. We needed a few extras like utensils for the bbq, plates, etc and there was no problem with having them supplied. I also asked about internet access in Rosebud and was given a laptop to use. Very much appreciated. We thought it could do with a spruce up .... just some refurbishing.

Close to the 2 events we had booked for Sat. in Rye. The bed was comfortable but there are no other redeeming features. It had the basic requirements: bed, TV, bathroom, fridge, kettle. It was convenient and cheap enough. Outdated. Gravel driveway/ car parking lends itself to tracking dust (mud if wet) into the unit. We weren't looking for a palace on the occasion
