The rooms are a good size. We chose this location because The building is not high rise: only three levels and has a centrally located pool. Also that breakfast was available. The TV is not visible from the bed.

It had a lovely friendly casual feel about it. There was a handy laundry and a diy bbq. The pool was nice if a bit chilly! The simple restaurant was good value. The map to find it was not very clear. Was that their fault, your's or Google?

When staying a whole week, I don't think its reasonable that you have to pay for internet and that it has a mb limit (particularly if staying there as a business traveller). There were some ants in the room, although they went away after the cleaner put down some spray. I also had to move rooms because my original room at the front of the hotel was very noisy with people coming and going in the middle of the night, also the light from the hotel's vacancy sign is very bright and was right outside my window (the curtains do not block out the light). I did appreciate being upgraded to a quieter and larger room though.

You could not believe what happened to this hotel, everything is far fm your expectation, the staff is so unfirendly, except the fake smile on her face, we bought the wifi service, but we have 2 cells & 2 computers, but confirmed before this is no problem, when we come & they would only like to give us two pw note & this is non sense, just because only your cell log in the pw, your computer can not log in again, we argue for it again, the staff is really really rude, we will never recommand to anyone in the future!!

Room comfortable and clean. Swimming pool good. Wifi expensive and quality poor.unable to use FaceTime in the bedroom. Restaurant basic and evening meals served on weekdays only. Tiled floors in corridors not ideal due to noise transfer to rooms.

Very helpful and welcoming staff. The room was very clean and comfortable, great value for the price paid. Lovely pool and BBQ area. Within easy walking distance of the town and esplanade. Felt a little too far out of town at night time and although we don't feel unsafe the atmosphere was a little different in the surrounding area.

Staff were friendly There were so many little ants on two of the big beds & some on the bedside tables when we stepped into the room. After getting rid about more than 30 that night, there were more ants the next morning!

Cleanliness and location. Friendly reception. Receptionist on final morning who offered me complimentary breakfast and apologised for her colleague who messed up my transport arrangements to airport. I requested reception to book bus to airport to be there at 09:30 for 11:30 flight. There seemed to be an English language barrier and he translated it to make it a 09:30 flight ad so booked coach at 07:10. I was ready at that time but queried with receptionist who sympathised that it was too early and rebooked for 09:10. (She kindly offered me breakfast).

Staff was friendly and helpful. My room was always cleaned nicely every day. Internet was always available but sometimes slow. My room was street side so it didn't feel very private and didn't have a pleasant view. I would have loved to have breakfast but the price seemed extremely high.

The location of the Bay Tree Hotel was perfect for our tansfer from the airport, the boat to Green Island for snorkelling and the Skytrain / Karunda rainforest expererience. The staff at the hotel desk were extremely helpful, polite and efficient. Breakfast by the pool on a nice sunny morning was perfect and added to our holiday. The room was perfect for the 3 nights we stayed, the confortable bed and the well equipped bathroom with walk in shower was very acceptable. nothing

Clean, well appointed room. I was upgraded to a quad room as a single traveller (!) and there were four sets of everything, which was great! There were two balconies in the room, albeit ones that overlooked the carpark... ;) The location may prove a challenge for some, as it is not too near the centre of action.

The room is big and clean. I love the balcony in which I could have a cup of coffee. The hotel provides BBQ equipment which is thoughtful. It is a little bit far away from the centre which is approximately 15 minutes' walk.
