Monreale cabins is the BEST place I have ever stayed in my entire life. I have been all over the world and stayed in alot of 4 to 5+ star hotels. Countries I have been include most of western and some eastern european countries. I have stayed in London, in Kenisignton in a very upmarket hotel. New york, LA. Gold Coast at the Hilton. But monereale gets my no1 vote for beauty of the location, the service, the luxury that we experienced. If you want a quite little cottage set in Australian bushy national parks, but in the most gorgeous luxurious place imaginable. I said to one of the ladies "It's like camping, on steroids!". Marvelous!
The only gripe , and I'm saying this because I need to something that's negative. More signage throughout the area. Need to find a way to divert people from Nobles lane, which is where the GPS takes you maybe call to the car hire company people they might be able to do something. As nobles lane is a very dangerous road, for people who unaware, it almost looks like 4WD track or just a fire trail.
We loved the peaceful environment and the absolute attention to detail. Our cottage was cosy and comfortable.
No negatives other than our stay was too short.
The seclusion and forest setting and the general facilities and staff were all excellent
Beautiful environment. Friendly. Comfortable.
Basic provisions could have been higher quality for the price.
It was nice and relaxing and very private to spend some quality time together.
I appreciated the privacy very much, the location was just what I wanted, was just perfect.
The quality of your water, I was not able to use the spa. I was not sure if it was safe or not. The information in the information booklet and what the staff said were different.
Peaceful, private staff/management could not do enough to make our stay the best it could be. Late checkout.
There was nothing
Ease of entry. Come and go with a minimum of fuss. LOVED the spa
The privacy. The leave you to it attitude.Good food and service. Our favourite Restaurant Fortnums on the doorstep.
Reception very poor on the TV and DVD player. The Reverse cycle A/C didn't seem to warm the cottage.
Outstanding gardens. Ferns were everywhere, paths wandered into inviting forest. The little cottage was well designed with loads of wood paneling. Breakfast basket was fab and there was a well stocked bar fridge. The spa huge and well sited... Ferns from all directions .
I was unsure about lighting a fire, and so didn't try. (I should have asked for help)The reverse cycle aircon unfortunately didn't heat the cottage well enough without a fire.
We had a wonderful relaxing time at cottages monreale for our 20th anniversary & would definately stay there again in one of their cottages. The environment was peace & tranquil & would recommend others to stay there
