It is a renovated, art deco building, located in the business area of Perth. Great central location. Good service. My room had a balcony (unique). Internet access is expensive at hotel. |

The staff were efficient and friendly, the rooms were clean, larger than expected and the hotel is very close to the city The room was a bit noisy at night from the bar downstairs and noisy during the day from the building site next door. |

When I arrived early, the lady at the front reception was very kind enough to allow me to use the room before standard check-in time and she also helped me a lot to change my second booking. During my first stay, I've left behind 2 personal belongings which couldn't be retrieved (housekeeper saying that there were no such things) when I came back 3 days later. Also, the tall Chinese receptionist with glasses was very arrogant in all his ways, trying to blame everything on the guest and if he's to remain in this hotel, I would never like to stay here again. |

It was great being close to shopping. Staff were very nice. It would be nice to have good drinking water in the room. The hotel water is not acceptable for drinking. I did get some (with some effort) from the dining room. Good drinking water should be free. |

The people at the reception were very, very kind. I came by intercontinental flight early in the morning on Sunday. I was in hotel at about 9 am and asked for early checking-in. They found the room for me, so I am very grateful to them. The room was small and the bathroom as well, but they had all facilities; I only missed the safe in the room. |

Excellent friendly service by Pearly who helped us with our tour bookings. The location is excellent as it is next to the main pickup and drop off point for our tours. The internet facility was excellent. It was free when we used it while waiting for one of our tours. |

Short distance to shopping district. The staff is friendly and helpful. Where the hotel is located, it is difficulty to find entrance to hotel while driving due to many no entry signs and one way street. It's took me about 15 minutes circling the area to reach the front of the hotel. |

Nicely situated near town centre and shopping areas. Clean and wow! A hotel more than a century old! It is an experience to stay in Criterion. Silly to say, they put one soap and one shampoo for a triple room! |

The location is great. Excellent value for money. Good and helpful staff. Generally excellent. Well recommended. You have to get a user name and password for the free internet every 3 hours of use. If you use the internet a lot it is really annoying going down to collect your new user name and password every 3 hours or so. The internet itself is slow and unreliable. The room was spotless but you could not open a window. |
