Prvacy, quietness, welcoming music in unit. Wine and cheese
Bathrobes too small and one was torn. Bathroom basin too small
We loved this place. A friend and I took a long weekend and stayed two nights. The facilities and friendliness of the staff were second to none. Definitely coming back next year!
CrookNeck Retreat was absolutely amazing! My partner and I truly enjoyed the beautiful scenery surrounding our cabin, and the relaxing environment away from our usually busy lifestyles.
I loved walking through the door on arrival to hear the tranquil music and the burnt aroma of insense gently welcoming us in. The cabin was simple but elegant. The spa was gorgeous, and the whole cabin was really clean and well cared for. By far the best place we have ever stayed. I want to go back right now.
Great little romantic getaway in a wonderful country area
Brett and Megan were amazing hosts. I was there for 100 mile run in Glasshouse Mountains and they provided us with an esky and chamois. Brett came out and supported me at checkpoints on the race. We were meant to meet. Loved the macadamia's.
Nothing at all - could not fault them.
Loved sitting on the deck looking out on CrookNeck Mnt. through the macadamia orchard whilst cracking macadamia nuts. Beautifully quiet and secluded and very comfortable. Enjoyed the open fire and plentiful supply of firewood.
Could have had more kitchen utensils, coat hangers in wardrobe and hooks and/or shelf in bathroom.
Was lovely and peaceful! Lots to see and do in the surrounding area. Beach not too far away. Beautiful mountains to climb with spectacular scenery!
My stay wasn't long enough! :)
We enjoyed the seclusion and peace and quiet. When we arrived to the cabin there was beautiful peaceful music playing as we entered. There was a great selection of DVDS that you can borrow for a snuggly night in.
We felt that the accommodation could've done with some hooks or rails near the spa to put your towel &/or robe on. The room had no hand towels provided. It was a pity that we didn't have a view of the mountain from our cabin but the lush surroundings were beautifully private.
Lovely accommodating staff, beautiful secluded little place but close enough to town and sights.Plenty of DVDs and firewood, and as many macadamias as you could eat!
Only gripe - not enough bubble bath!
Everything, the owners are very friendly and have knowledge of the area and are down to earth. The room was exceptional, cosy and romantic.
Peace and privacy and seclusion
The retreat was fantastic if you wanted a bit of piece and quiet. Everything possible had been catered for. Brett and his family couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. 'Breakfast' was more like a banquet, I couldn't believe such a variety and quantity had been left for us. It's well worth the small amount extra to pay.
There was nothing I didn't like.
Relaxing location, cosy great for a romantic retreat!
No-one was at reception when we left, werent sure were to get more fire wood. Minor things!
Quiet and relaxing
Friendly staff. Privacy. Spa. Wine and cheese
The owners were really friendly, the location was beautiful, it was the nicest cottage we have ever stayed at. The spa was beautiful, and I had the best sleep ever..the bed was so comfy, and the blinds kept the light away in the morning. The bbq breakfast was delicious! We will definitely be back, and we are looking forward to winter to try out the fire place :)
We had to leave :(
Loved the set up of the cabins. Excellent service.
Comfort, privacy, attention to detail, the orchard and mountain view.
