I have stayed in lots of hotels and apartments all around the world and have never came across one that did not have a Donna or blankets. I had 2 very cold nights sleep and the blankets if you can call them that , more like a shawl was a waste of time. My suggestion is to get a Donna, quilt , or blanket and just leave in the cupboard so it can be used if needed, every person has a different body temperature which should be considered
the two fire alarms that went off one at 2am on the 29th and the other 6.30 am new years day to evacuate and stand around while waiting for fire fighters and on the second occasion they didn't even show up
The bed was glorious
The car park we were allotted was very small and it was a tight fit to get our car in. That was the only downside to our stay.
Mostly everything - location was brilliant - pretty much central to everything that you wanted - security & parking was spot on - unit was clean & spacious.
Bathroom was a bit of a challenge - people with limited mobility & the elderly would struggle with the shower & possibly the toilet. The shower was in a bath with very high sides. My wife & I had to step carefully & hold on to the shower screen to enter & exit. The toilet was cramped behind the door & the toilet paper had to be kept on the bench next to the basin as it couldn't be reached while on the seat
Partment inperfectec order, with e dry thing that you. An need, basically find some food at your arrival at night its a perfect idea.
Nothing in particular all was OK
Location , location, location !!!
Awesome views, comfy beds and plenty of room
Place location is ok
We had to clean ourselve . booking .com should inform guest do own cleaning. Unlike citadines or fraser suite there cleaning. Worst there no reception take me one hour to locate wer to get key. Dont know why you rating high yet there no service at all. Crazy.
Loved everything about the apartment. Location and facilities were excellent.
The only thing I didn't like was the smell in the basement as you walked past the garbage room. I think that should have been emptied over the weekend.
Location was great. easy stroll to shops and central Darwin.
Austar/Foxtel not connected despite being advertised as so.
Location near the wave pool and lagoon pool was perfect Floating Noodles provided for the lagoon Great view Size Décor
Broken drawer in 2nd Bathroom An expectation that we do quite a bit of the cleaning. When you pay about $680pn that should all be included. Would prefer a King bed in the master of the Bali named apt
The location, cleanliness, helpfulness of the staff. Just downstairs to wave pool, great restaurants and open spaces. Secure apartment with great views.
The location, the ease of booking, the apartment is fitted with all the essentials. Perfect for a weekend getaway
supplies left very good position amenties closeby
bath over shower
Good to have fresh bread & fruit provided on arrival, enough to get you started. Also has oil, salt & pepper etc if you feel inclined to cook. Great balcony with views. Comfy louge area with tv. Good airconditioning.
Only 2 towels provided. Parking was little inconvenient with security gate as remote not working. Shower over bath. Wood pelmet over sliding door fell when opening blind & hit me on the head - hopefully this problem has been rectified.
The location and all the restaurants right at the doorstep, also how close it is to walk into Darwin City centre.
The step up into the bath for the shower was very high and awkward.
The apartment was excellent in all the facilities provided. The location was good with views and restaurants surrounding.
The views provided in the preview when booking did not live up to expectations, especially for the price that i was paying. In fact quite disappointing.
Location, proximity to the Lagoon and pool and convenience of the on-site car parking. Breakfast supplies and fruit appreciated.
Unit 354 sits to the rear of the Complex on Level 6. It therefore is exposed to the 24/7 workings of the Port and building activity from the adjoining building which is under construction and therefore, noisy. Sound from bands playing at the Lagoon and Stokes Hill Wharf (on Saturday evening) reverberating off the buildings was a nuisance into the late hours on Saturday 2nd August. Gas ran out on Monday 4th August (Cup Day) which meant no cooking facilities or hot water. Hardly a 5 star outcome as the gas was not restored until the next day. On enquiry, we were told sorry its a Public Holiday. This should never happen. We had a baby crawling on the tiled floor which although, maybe mopped, needs a good scrub as hands and feet were both covered in blackened dirt. Air conditioning was set on 24 degrees and yet could not be set to a thermostat. If left on, the apartment was freezing. So it was a case of turn on and off to suit. Made sleeping difficult as you couldn't even leave the doors and windows open due to the noise. Facilities generally OK, although sliding door to bedroom was broken and crockery in the Kitchen was mis-matched and minimalist. Musty smells from beneath the sink was a problem at times although eventually cleared following use of the complementary bottle of Drano.
The convenience of not having to drive other than scenic drives. Everything was there on tap. Restaurants, shopping, water views, lawn area to just sit and relax.
With the apartment the only thing we found that was a problem was the microwave. It wasn't user friendly and the air conditioner was hard to operate. My husband has been in the air conditioning business for 35 years and he had great difficulty in operating it. Other than that the apartment was wonderful and we would stay more often if it wasn't so expensive.
we would have preferred double/queen beds
The convenience of the restaurants downstairs. The wonderful view and sea breeze. The apartment had extras like cleaning gear and extra towels. Two car parks for the one room.
There is not one thing to complain about.
The overall cleanliness of the apartment & where it was situated was great. Loved having a car to look around in. It is certainly a great area to stay while in Darwin. We will definately return when we have saved once again.
The only issue was the access into the shower in the room we had & it is a bit of a pity that the price is a bit exspensive. I do understand that it was school holidays. If it was a more reasonably priced we would most probably make it more of a frequent holiday destination as we love Darwin. We only had one issue while staying there. On our last night the apartment above us kept us awake most of the night.
Excellent location- within walking distance of the city centre and overlooked the wharf precinct. Staff were well organised and available despite not being onsite. Numerous food options. Thought the breakfast supplies was a lovely touch.
Tiny car parks. Bathroom had remnants of previous tenant. Shower over the bath could be a problem for less mobile guests and then water on the floor is a safety issues. One couch only for TV viewing. Early morning sun was full on- suggest some sort of curtains. Garbage shute is the hallway got a bit wiffy. Quite expensive at over $400 a night but it was peak.
The support staff the location the fresh clean surroundings of the wharf peacefully quitethe bed very comfortable easy access to surrounding area in fact I didn't want to leave I could winter here.
Shower over bath to steep to climb in and over areal physical challenge, A
The location was great and the beds nice and firm with great white sheets, loved it,
the smell of cigerette smoke from the previous persons, you should ban smoking. having to wait for the key was also a bit annoying
