Victorian style Fittings, Four poster bed, Exquisit furnitings.

Water pressure, dampish smell.

The room and facilities were very confortable and pleasant - much better than a modern hotel. The breakfast was fresh and generous if you chose to indulge.

Our room was situated on the ground floor opposite the Steak House which was very noisy and meant that there was no sleep until it closed. The windows and door would benefit from better all-round seals. This face of the hotel also provides no privacy from the footpath (or Steakhouse at night where patrons lean on the timber rails facing the hotel) as there is no privacy screening or planting. This meant that we were not comfortable to sit outside the room, plus we had to keep the door and curtains closed and rely on the room lighting even during the day. A series of 2m high trees along the fence line would make a significant difference. If we had the opportunity to visit again or recommend Rockhampton accommodation to others we would insist on a room on the carpark side of the hotel.

The décor was very luxurious and we loved the spa bath after a long drive. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Great for special occasions.

The location was a little strange for this luxurious hotel. Beside a used freight railway which was noisy at night. It really did seem as though it belonged somewhere else.

The room furnishings and fittings were amazing. The bed and lounge were so comfortable! It was a lovely place to share with my partner for a night.

We loved the elegant rooms, great breakfast and friendly helpful staff The gracious building in an attractive garden setting was a delightful alternative to the usual country motel.

I liked it all but improvement to make it excellent would be to improve water pressure in shower, it was just a drizzle.Provide a light blanket. lighting was romantic but difficult to see anything or read.

We were in Room 9 Very noisy - too close to the rail line with the shunting etc Windows need to be double glased to block out some of the noise Could use this room for brides getting ready for their wedding

The accommodation was very comfortable and the breakfast was lovely. The location to the city was perfect. Not too busy or noisy.

Almost like stepping back in time, but with modern conveniences. The luxurious room, comfortable large bed, heaps of space, large TV and spa, it was wonderful. Oh, friendly staff and breakfast was great too.

Arriving late (our own fault), didn't have long enough to really soak it all up. Key safe needs to work, suggest staff check it before leaving work however having somewhere to sit while waiting to be let in was ok.

Beautiful but heritage look and a fabulous breakfast at great value for money. Worth a visit just to enjoy the accommodation.

The room was very tasteful and the furniture comfortable

Breakfast first morning at 8.30 there wasnt very much left, and the young lady never moved from behind the desk to check on supplies except to make our coffee. Second morning we were earlier and everything much improved.

What I liked most about our stay at the Denison Boutique Hotel was the feeling of utter privacy we found when we arrived, a space where we could simply be ourselves, in a beautifully furnished, quiet and peaceful setting. The staff were wonderfully helpful and our room was a little touch of old school elegance combined with 21st century creature comforts.
