Discovery Holiday Parks - Mornington Hobart  

Staff were great and very friendly, cabins clean and well accomodated. Overall facilities were very good.

we booked two 2-bedroom cabins and received the confirmation from booking.com already. But when we check in, Discovery holiday parks said there was only one cabin reserved. After long time check and I even showed them the printed confirmation, they said maybe 2 cabins booked, but they only charged one cabin. So there is one cabin for us. But we have 2 families. For the 1st day, they can provide us one more cabin, but for the 2nd day, we two families have to share one cabin which is very small and inconvenient for us. I don't know why they charge only one cabin in advance. But the confirmation is two cabins! Why this problem occured?

Close to Eastlands shopping mall. Good bus service into Hobart. Camp and cabins are neat and tidy. Rates are fair. Helpfull staff

Kitchen utensils need checking and replacing where necessary. Some windows in cabin hard to close properly. Noise from motorway. Office often unattended.

Ease off access off motorway on outskirts of Hobart

Nobody there to meet me. Office closed, manager off site.

nothing ,probably one of the tackiest places ever stayed

The girl at reception was lovely and welcoming but the accomodation was uncomfortable and outdated. The electric blanket didnt work on one side of the bed, one side of the grill didnt work properly,the furniture was old with holes in areas, the shower continually dripped and the accomodation was generally unpleasant .
