Excellent access to central Melbourne and easy to travel by public transport. Well presented and appointed apartment.
2nd bedroom near lift well so could hear lift noise during the night.
Great apartment with everything you need
Surprised by hearing the level of noise from outside when windows closed.
Loved everything about this place, it was perfectly positioned, clean, safe and plenty of lovely eating places very close.
Awesome location Great car access Great public transport connectivity Many amenities within handy walking distance. I have been coming to Melbourne at least once a month for last five years and this is the best location I have ever stayed.
I acknowledge this is pretty much a first world problem. The dishwasher seemed to make all the right noises but did not clean the dishes. To be fair I did not raise this as an issue at the time of our stay as it was not significant enough to be bothered with.
Very convenient to trams and southern cross train station which is on the city loop. Centre of City a short tram ride or 15 min walk away. Apartment has a very well appointed kitchen and extra items thought of such as shopping trolley, clothes airer, hand rail in shower were very helpful.
The host was really helpful in all our needs
We particularly liked the security and Paul our host was extremely pleasant and helpful
There wasn't anything we didn't like about this apartment
The locality to the free tram service we took it to all the activities that we had planned for the week. Apartment very clean and presentable easy walking distance to the DFO and Harbour Town shopping.
The noisy Air-Con from the apartment next door. We were told to make sure the apartment was left clean and the bins emptied otherwise we would have to pay cleaning charges. Not impressed.

If you look for an apartment that is reasonable quiet (in as far a city apartment can be quiet), then this is a decent choice. Walking distance of the city center. Clean. Enough space. The manager (Paul) is a nice chap.
No (free) WIFI. The second bedroom had a lot of noise from the elevator (room 501). Not a problem for us as we only used the main bedroom (not connected to the elevator shaft). But it could be a problem if you sleep in the second bedroom.

Paul was very helpful and easily contactable without being intrusive. The apartment exceeded our expectations and was the best we stayed in over our month in Oz
I think wifi should be included in the price but the Hub below was available during office hours if internet/email badly needed
Everything was absolutely perfect! Paul was a pleasure to deal with, the apartment was amazing! I was with my partner, little brother and little cousin, and it accommodated perfectly for all of us! Want to go back to Melbourne just so I can stay here again!
The apartment was exactly what is listed in the description and pictures. Very clean and modern. Paul & Belinda were great. So helpful and accommodating. The location is perfect for anyone wanting to explore Melbourne city. Highly recommend.
Everything was great, from Paul who took us to our room, to the location which was within easy walking distance to trains and trams. Very clean and great views. Traffic noise was barely audible, we would definately stay again if in the area and also recommend it to others. Thank you!
Nothing we didn't like
Even though no reception Paul met us downstairs and took us to apartment and explained how everything worked, eating places, trams, trains etc. thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lovely and clean. Didn't do any cooking but things like cooking spray, foil, glad wrap all provided. The extra touches that stand out from other self contained accommodation. Will definitely stay here again.
We loved the view from our apartment. The furnishings were modern and very comfortable. The are had everything we needed and was more relaxing than being in the heart of the city.
We had a tour company that would not do pickups at Docklands because it was "too difficult" to pickup from that location - still trying to work that out.
Paul and Belinda were such good hosts. They made us feel welcomed and made our stay memorable. They were always willing to give us advise on our queries and I would highly recommend Docklands Exe to everyone.
There was no gym or pool facilities.
Paul was a very gracious and generous host. The location was great- right on the tram line. The apartment was spacious and comfortable and exactly as it appears on the website.
Very convenient to convention center and trams. Spacious, quiet, spotless, full of amenities (coffee/tea, salt/pepper, paper products, laundry detergent, UHT milk box!). Wish I could have stayed longer to see more of Melbourne!

The view!!! Paul was very welcoming, great tips for dinner- Nine Elephants (great food), Berth (great for kids). Little things like having glad wrap for easy packed lunches and laundry detergent made for a simple family holiday! Thank you
The owners put a lot of thought into providing a comfortable and well stocked apartment. Lots of toilet paper, tissues, dish soap, laundry soap...even tea, coffee, sugar (AND the electric blankets were a lovely surprise). Clean apartment, great view, great bedding, lots of towels, foxtel for the kids, supermarket close by, tons of transport options, CBD 5 minutes away.... Really can't fault it. We had a wonderful week!
