The location is very convienient. We were also very happy about the size of the room and bathroom. They are very spacious. We were also very happy to see a microwave in the room. There is trams, train station and hospital nearby, however the room, is very soundproof and even in the middle of the night you couldn't hear much at all. The driveway is very narrow and one way at a time which is very confusing. As it is an old building the plumbing can be noisy but this does not happen all the time only once on our 3 night stay, it just happend to be at 4am. Entry into the building is via a door on the driveway which could cause a dangerous situation if your kids are not under control, as there is no where for the cars to go around you, they just have to wait till you have entered the building.

Not much. I am aware we only paid $95 a night but the hotel/motel really needs a lot of refurbishment. Location was good. There was a misty smell throughout and it was noisy at all hours.

Location is ok either with car or public transport. Acceptable breakfast. Problems with wifi network. Furniture and room itself are old. Hotel needs renovation. Bad sound isolation.

The hotel was very clean, very neat. I think the cleanest one we have stayed in Australia during our 10 day vacation. The staff was very helpful. The hotel is very quiet and also has a free parking lot. We wanted to visit Melbourne and its environment. The hotel is not too close to the city center but we had a car so it wasnt a problem. It s also easy to go by tram which runs next to the hotel (we havent tried this option though.) We would recommend and would go back to this hotel. I wouldnt have a breakfast in this hotel. It was cheap but it s true that there was nothing else than cornflakes and toast with butter or jam. But it s not a problem in Australia cuz there are plenty of nice cafes where you can have an excellent breakfast.

Basic but very clean accomodiation, good value for money, close to a main train line (within fare stage one) and tram lines. Relatively quiet. Helpful staff. Supermarkets and places to eat at close by. A bit out of town but close to a main train line with frequent trains, about 20 minutes train ride to city centre and within stage 1 fare zone.

The price was pretty good considering I booked at 10PM and arrived after midnight. The man who served me was great careered to my needs and was very pleasant considering the time of my arrival. The beds were very comfortable compared to other hotels. The cleanliness of the shower wasn't that great, what appeared to be mould was all over the shower edges , also the appearance of the hall way when walking in doesn't set a very good first impression, there was an I've machine in the middle of the door way and the laundry trolley was left sitting in front of the lift, didn't set a good environment.
