Drummond Serviced Apartments  

Location was excellent. Walking distance to everything we wanted. The bed was comfortable.

It was very tired, and extremely dirty, especially the bathroom which had mould growing all through the shower, and on the roof. Everything was in need of thorough maintenance, and a total springclean. I have stayed at many places, in many countries, and this was the worst as far as dirt was concerned. I am not prone to exageration, and have never complained in a review before. I wrote in the form they left in the room, my concerns re lack of cleanliness, and still the shower was not cleaned in the 5 days we stayed. Towels were changed, and one day they left us 3 instead of 4 towels. There is a notice to say, if a towel is 'accidently missing', that a charge of $80 will occur. There is no reception. I am sorry to have to state my concerns, but if the owners addressed these, the place would be acceptable.

Strong smell of bleach in the apartment. Bathroom is a pretty tatty ... Very old blanket in the cupboard.. Can't rate staff as we didn't see or speak to any. Having to leave my Credit Card details on a form ... just left in the room ... when I had already given cc details to Booking.com

The apartments were just around the corner from a tram stop and also within walking distance of Lygon Street for restaurants and Carlton Gardens for the excellent Melbourne Museum.

The apartments do need a little TLC (cracked basin, chipped paintwork, stained towels).

Travelling as a woman on my own, I felt very safe and my car was secure.

The location is great; the price is reasonable; the apartment was spacious.

Internet service seems too expensive.

A little old and tired. Very utilitarian and therefore over priced.

It was clean and offers privacy. Also, the staff were very helpful and polite.

There were no towels when we arrived and they didn't bring them before we had to leave at 9:30am the next day. The iron was missing. Although they are call Drummond "Serviced" apartments, they don't service the apartments on the weekend which is poor service. They were also very noisy.

Location was perfect for our needs. Cleanliness is VIP to us and the apartment ticked all boxes in that regard. Friendly, helpful staff made coming and going very easy and stress-free. We would definitely consider returning to Drummond Service Apartments. Thank you.

Location

There was mould in shower and in the kitchen. The bathroom smells. There are stains everywhere, carpet, lounge,bedside drawers etc. I got charged $35 for a bit of texta on a sheet. The whole place smells musty. The spare blanket looks never washed. Cleaner in our room before we even left at 920am.

coffee table by the couch would be good. a better sink plug in the had basin.

Close to great restaurant's, supermarket a five minute walk away as well as tram stop. We enjoyed our stay in comfortable surroundings.

Very friendly and helpful young man when we arrived early who helped us with our bags and let us leave them in the apartment even though he was still cleaning it after last guests.

Rather tired-looking and shabby decor. No air-conditioning in the bedroon and no fan. No lift.

Clean and comfortable apartment.

Staff were super friendly and extremely helpful. Nice to have a kitchen, though we didn't use it very much. Pretty ideal location, not central but just a block from a tram line and Carlton is a great neighborhood with vast dining options, especially if you like Italian food. Good supermarket just a block away, too.

It's a very basic, bare-bones accommodation. Probably due for some renovation and upgrading of fixtures and furnishings. Suited our purposes, and it was a good value for money, but everything was just a little worn.

Convenience to CBD by public transport and offers off street parking.
