Parking and Location
The Additional fee for paying by credit card should be made clear(er). I did not notice it in the booking email.
The place looks very tacky , the furniure and carpet etc vey old and does not give a clean look.
Location. Comfortable bed.
Room not ready at check-in time. Cigarette butts on the balcony. Food that appeared to have been thrown and splashed all over a wall of the balcony. A sofa bed in the lounge area that was so broken that it could not have been sat on comfortably - felt like it had been collected from the street rubbish, and certainly should have gone back there.
I liked that it was so close to Lygon Steet, the tram and Woolworths. It was value for money.
The shower dripped.
Location Parking Bed comfort
Needs renovation Used cleaning cloths left for guests Foyer and stairwell need refurbishing Noise from other apartments
Location Acces to room
Could have had a better clean upon arrive. This could be attributed to the age of furnishings
Carpet needs fixing Lobby carpet dirty
Good location, not bad size rooms
Lack of toilet paper provided, terrible fold out bed that rocked, 1 key for 3 people.
Arrived at 2pm to a room not cleaned, after a phone call at 10 am that morning to ask what time we would be arriving!!! No clean towels,we were going to a wedding at 3pm,lucky we had showered at home.Very disappointed.
Well located with easy access to just about everything. Free parking, such a bonus in the city and the tram stop only 100 metres down the road direct tot he city.
Awkwardness of the parking, but manageable.
The location is wonderful, right round the corner from the Lygon Street Italian district. Very easy to get into the CBD, to Flinders Street, etc on the trams. I discovered more public transport connections this time (buses) and finally visited the charming little Italian Museum. It's become my regular place to stay when in Melbourned.
I made three short stays there over two weeks and never got the WiFi to work, although the free WiFi in Potters cafe around the corner worked fine.
Value for money, close to shops, restaurant, car parking facilities
No direct contact with staff, room needed refurbishment: painting, new floor coverings, tiles/grout in bathroom needed bleaching. If windows were double glazed it would reduce the noise from the street. No face washer supplied.
Location to local attractions excellent, Lygon st 2 minutes walk so a great place for any foodie. Tram stop only 4 minute walk and supermarket the same. Perfect for a group of friends visiting Melbourne.
there are many ants in the kichen.
Good value, good location
Separate bedroom and kitchen. Close to shops and cafes.
Poor communication. We had a very late flight and early arrival. Our email inquiries about early check-in were unanswered, and after we finally managed to get through to someone on the phone we were assured that we would be able to call up on the morning of our arrival to get access to a secure room for our luggage. The next morning we again couldn't get anyone on the phone to give us the key code. It took more than half an hour for our calls to be returned, by which time we had already managed to get into the building and had left our bags in the laundry so that we could at least go out for breakfast with our tired and cranky kids. I suspect it was a was a one off, but if you are arriving early, I would ask for the key codes the day before.
Location is ok, close to CBD and Melbourne Uni.
Next to social housing blocks, many drunken people. The sink did almost fall off the wall. The shower was pretty tiny.
Location perfect for my needs. Felt safe and secure Excellent value for money, I would definitely stay there again
As it was extremely cold, an electric blanket, the blankets supplied were only just enough.
When I got in touch with staff (took a while because they are not available always). They were friendly and helpful.
Feeling there wasn't anyone there that could help you. Telephone did not work. Aircond did not work.
Location of the apartments allows good access to Lygon St and the Melbourne Tram network. Queen size bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed.
Our time was mared by the building windows were being renovated. The lounge in the apartment was old and could not be used. Fixtures and cupboards are dated and the carpet through out is worn.
the bed. the location.
the worn out lounge chairs the faded pictures the lack of decent toiletries the bodywash - detergent? everything in the kitchen seemed like it came from an op shop.
On arrival we asked to be moved to a different apartment because the windows could not be closed but the manager was incredibly helpful as much as he was friendly and it was all sorted out within an hour or so. There were other deficiencies in the replacement apartment, probably as it looked very newly renovated, but again the manager went out of his way to help us. The location is absolutely perfect if your holiday or event is in the city.
We had to move because the windows in our allocated apartment could not be closed. The wooden windows were rotten and the glass had slipped out of the frame and was in danger of slipping two floors into the front yard. Be aware that they charge for using credit cards so have an alternative method of payment available.
