We were pleased in every way with our stay at Duxton Hotel Perth. It's very central - just a few minutes walk from the lovely shopping centre and other tourist points. Excellent facilities. Staff excellent. Dining room excellent. It was a real pleasure to stay there.

We absolutely loved our room. It had a massive, super-comfy bed and spectacular river views. Lovely breakfast, helpful, friendly staff. The time between wanting to check out and the checking of the minibar...a little clumsy (no major issue but there must be other ways)...

The staff were very helpful & understanding, the meals were very well cooked, and very tasty, the room very clean and tidy. That the walls were not very sound proof, you could here a lot of noise from the next room.

Friendly, helpful front desk, housekeeping and concierge staff Easy, fair wifi for multiple devices - especially compared with Crowne Plaza in Melbourne which was an inoperable ripoff Trevor the limo man, who gave me a lift to the airport because he was going that way

Friendly and helpful staff. Excellant bedding Worn decor in room. Coffee spills down front of cupboard when we checked in still there 2 days later. Only 2 tea bags in room after service. Lifts to rooms a nightmare. We waited up to 20 minutes for lifts to arrive then very hit and miss where we landed. This happened a dozen times during our stay.

We have been a couple of times to the hotel and found it to be lovely. The staff are pleasant and are always willing to help. I will continue to stay at the duxton, as it is also a reasonable price.

Location We had to ask for toiletries as we were not given any. We were then not left any soap. At the price we were paying for the 2 night stay we would have expected better. We also stayed in the grand Hyatt Perth and for service value etc it was a much more enjoyable experience.

Views from the King Spa room were amazing. Watching the sunset over the Swan River was beautiful. I slept with the curtains open and watched the sun come up as well. The location is perfect (my partner works at Royal Perth Hospital) and we stayed xmas day as we both worked the day and had to start at 7am Bocing day. Rooms well designed and clean and comfortable. It was nice relaxing in the bar on the verandah. Food service in the Grill restaurant was slow and we waited an hour between courses which took away from the time left to enjoy other hotel facilities on a 'one night' stay. We were bored waiting, hungry and tired.
