Location was fantastic. Close to eating out locations and beach
My room was right on road opposite pub on a Friday night. Very little sleep due to noise and blower early on street in morning. Not good when you have an athletics meet the next day
Location, secure access, modern rooms
Trams and traffic kept us awake at night, couldn't sleep without earplugs
Clean and very close to city in St Kilda.
It would be nice to have had a face washer and hand towel plus hair drier in the bathroom. Overall very satisfied.
Location is perfect Doesn't look much from outside but was modern, clean & homely inside.
the bathroom was newish and clean, the bed was comfortable and the location was good
some noise during the night from the Mc Donalds carpart next door
King bed was very comfortable. Location was good easy access to St.Kilda Road to get to city.
Very noisy. Had family apartment which was just one room with a trundle and pullout sofa. These were not comfortable. Very noisy with trams going past all the time.
Mouldy smell in the bathroom
Good location and value for money, easy access to transport and shops
room was ok kitchen serviceable bathroom could be better office staff at times were average But ladies looking after our room etc were Excellent.
The lock on the gate hardly worked. Lights not working and no paytv and wifi setup was poor
Location of room was good, kitchen was adequate.
Fridge wasnt cold enough, king bed was two singles pushed together. Had a party in next room which required 3 calls to reception to end. The room was a large Motel style room. Towels were not changed. Only cleaned bins each day.
Location. So close to everything we needed/wanted. Staff were great, as always. The room was spotless. Only noise was the traffic through Macca's drive through the next morning!!
The location near the Palais Theatre was brilliant. The close location of Ackland Street The bottle of wine and cheese was lovely too
The fact we had a late check out at Midday and our room cards still expired at 10.00am because of normal check out time. We got locked out of our room because of it.
Close to tram stop, Luna Park, easy to get to beach and city. Good sized fridge and cooking facilities; generally comfortable and I would stay again.
The room was a little small with two boys, but if you're out all day its fine.
Only the staff
Paid for an apartment, got a motel room with a microwave oven.
great location, close to beach, close to food and entertainment. More so was excellent for cost which made traveling to Melbourne by car more affordable
not much to dislike about the place maybe parking? however we parked in the allocated parking behind the shopfront which wasn't too bad.
The location was very close to the restaurant area of Acland street and to the tram. St Kilda is well placed for attending conferences at the Convention Centre, because the 96 tram is very fast between them but slows down when entering the CBD.
Mostly the apartment was very good but there wsas no chair to sit at the table/bench. If you sat on one of the padded stools available the bench heigh t was not much below the chin; if you piled two on each other the bench height was below your bottom.
We have stayed once or twice a year in various of their appartments and in the motel. We have always had good experiences. The appt had everything and was immaculate, comfortable and central.
We were at 65 Ackland St facing the main road and there was some noise at what must have been throwing out time for the clubs. However everything else made up for that.
Internet access costs excessive.
Apartment was clean. Location was good. Reasonably spacious.
We had booked for twin beds so needed to organise this ourselves on arrival to apartment. Instructions on use of gas cooker would have been good. Reviews of nearby restaurants. Best trams to catch, just some basic information would have been useful. Our room was not serviced. a quick vacuum would have been good, especially as room next door was being serviced when we went out.
It has everything you need...
It was in a good position to be able to walk to the shops, cafes and trams etc in the main street of St Kilda.
It was noisy when other residents came home. The shape of the court yard/ carpark acts like a chimney so any noise travels up to the rooms.
This hotel is not an easy stay. Guests have to check in on fitzroy st and then go to their hotel, mine was on acland st. It was have been nice if the staff had mentioned that my room was about 4 floors up with no lift. I had a suitcase with me during check in so someone could have mentioned that. I had to lug my suitcase up those stairs and was about mid way when i thought to go somewhere else. Didnt end up staying here and booked a hotel down the st.
Great place to stay, close to everything Nice and clean
Room lacks ventilation Can't open windows
The location was great for St Kilda and u can get trams everywhere
Bit noisy at night from other rooms. Got woken up by a blower at 6.30am. Bed lumpy
