The location was excellent, right next to the main attractions of Port Macquarie including shops and the coastal walk. The room we were in was refurbished nicely despite the motor inn being quite old. The pool and spa were very clean. The pool was not heated and it took a while to get used to the cold. The gym was musty and small with no windows and was pretty much unusable.

We really enjoyed our stay at El Paso, the staff for friendly especially the lovely couple who run the restaurant they gave us tips of where to go site seeing and restaurants. The location was a total bonus we didn't use our car the whole 4 days we were there except once when we drove along the beach side to view the lookouts, beaches & lighthouse. Breakfast was nice and simple, room was clean & comfortable, really liked the fact that the room had air con aswell. I would recommend this place to others, good price & awesome location. Thank El Paso!

The location is excellent and the staff are very helpful and approachable. The beach, shops and harbour are all a few minutes away. There is ample free parking and the free wifi is very good, unlike many places that we have stayed at. The pool and spa area was nice although we didnt use it. The continental breakfast was a bonus and the restaurant is in a lovely place overlooking the bay. The rooms are a bit dated and dark, although they are clean and functional. Don't expect too much from the gym / fitness room as it is small.

Ability to park undercover. Waitress in restaurant kindly looked after my special dietary requirements and the meal was delicious, Thank you. The shower could have been a bit cleaner and the basin needed some draino in it, otherwise everything was great. Room 214.

Great central location, lots of river cruises. Staff were friendly and helpful, Room could have done with a refurb (70s revival) Was given an upstairs room which was accessed via a spiral stair case which a bit fiddly with heavy bags, Was given a complimentary breakfast which consisted of toast, juice, tea, coffee and four cereals any cooked breakfast was at an extra cost.
