very clean, very friendly

I would have preferred English breakfast, but the continental breakfast more than made up for it and was excellent. the boiled eggs were a treat

Beautiful property, comfortable room, nice and friendly hosts, sumptuous breakfast, the complementary port/sherry makes a wonderful after dinner drink, great location with good choices of restaurants within walking distance, good suggestions of sightseeing spots from the hosts, near to major sightseeing spots in the city.... in short, we had a wonderful stay in Elms of Hobart

Very friendly welcome at a comfortable home close to excellent restaurants. Room was large & comfortable. Pleasant dining area with good breakfast included.

On a busy road but it was not too noisy.

very pleasant place to stay, spotlessly clean and very friendly and helpful owners. Nice to include breakfast too. very convenient for hobartt town or surroundings but very quiet for sleeping at night. Plenty of off road parking.

The building had an original charm and was within a twenty minute brisk walk from the centre. The owner, Tina, was helpful and obliging.

Breakfast was self service and comparatively ordinary.

Tina is a delightful lady and an excellent host. She sure works hard. The property is lovely, and the location pretty good.

Very friendly and helpful hosts, comfortable rooms, heritage charm, the garden, onsite parking and very close proxity to restaurants.

Female host was exceptionally warm, informative & professional. Excellent facilities, spotless & charming ambience. Great garden and restful areas inside & out to put the weary traveller at ease. Hard to fault this one - just a little pricey but worth every dollar. A bit of a climb to the front door so those with heavy suitcases take note

Comfortable and relaxing. Friendly and quiet atmosphere. Well organised. Good quality continental breakfast and lots of it. Would recommend to Middle Aged to Mature couples.

We loved the the way the b & b had been decorated, we had previously stayed at The Elms and were amazed at the work Tina & Raymond had achieved to bring it to the standard it now is. They have decorated all rooms to suit the era of the house. Both Tina & Raymond have a good knowledge of Hobart and were very helpful with directions and places of interest to visit. Wonderful b & b, wonderful Hosts. Thank you, Gary & Maureen (Salamanca Market & Bruney Island Cruise a must!)

It was a lovely old English style home. The gardens are beautiful. The hosts were very friendly. We would stay at Elms when next we visit Hobart.

The welcome was very friendly and our hosts were helpful, friendly and caring for our entire visit always trying to help us with what we wanted to do and chatting when we saw them. Their continental breakfast reaches heights no other continental breakfast could ever do!!

Fabulous hosts in a picturesque setting, beautiful old house with luxury modern comforts. Excellent breakfast, best boiled eggs.

Stay not long enough

Tina was a wonderful, gracious host. The home at big and beautiful, and well located to take advantage of all Hobart has to offer, especially the great restaurants in North Hobart.

It was the middle of winter, some parts of the home were a bit cold.

poor heating in room

The heritage nature of the house and accommodation. The closeness of a variety of restaurants.

Dim bedside lamps that don't allow reading in bed. The room fridge never contained anything but three bottles of beer and when wine was asked for the response was "we've run out".
