Loved the house and it's features, lovely walk around the property, close to everything in town.awesome hospitality.great free breakfast.loved it.will go again
The railway carriage was a novelty. Loved the surroundings and the hosts were wonderful.
Hard to pick a fault with the property.
If you are looking for something which is different and a real treat this really hits the spot. We stayed in the small railway carriage and knew, from previous reviews, we,d be a bit cramped so we unpacked what we needed for 24 hours and put our cases back in the car. The setting is wonderful, breakfast delicious and the mint water and home made chocolate brownies were some of the little touches whichake this location so special.
Receiving verbal abuse for a late arrival that was suppose to be for other clients. We were on time as arranged.
The verandah, grounds, pool & brekky
The twin carriage is only big enough for kids! Terribly stuffy & cramped for adults especially in 34degree heat! No fridge or access to tea/ coffee in room & big house closed by 8pm! A bit disappointed & not value for money
Beautiful place and grounds. It was a pleasure to just sit on the porch and look over the yard - even in the rain. Great location next to the markets too. My husband was very impressed and is willing to go the B&B route next time!
Bit hot with no airconditioning but we survived without too much discomfort.
Double booked us in with 2 families, with 3 children. They the families, paid for the whole B & B home, so they were over charged. I also paid for my room, it didn't include basic toiletries like tissues, the toiletries provided were pre used and not very nice or hygienic for what I am use too!
Our host John was very friendly and informative on arrival but then left us to enjoy our own company and privacy which was great.
That we only stayed for one night.
The hotel is wonderfully laid out with comforts in your room and the entire hotel. Best of all is the staff (owners) they are so dedicated to ensuring your stay is great. That combine with their knowledge of the area and beyond all our questions are well answered and advice given on how to make the best of your stay. This hotel was so nice we decided to not go out one day and just stay at the hotel and enjoy all the facilities and relax and enjoy the porch, pool, walking space a true highlight of our stay at over 12 different hotels on this trip. 5 stars service in a small hotel. Thanx Fizzy for the great stay!!! Alex & Karen ;)
Could not stay longer had to move on!
Very welcoming hosts, the House was very comfortable, beautiful verandahs and lovely views. Breakfast was really nice, John is an understated cook, very tasty meal....nice presentation. Would definitely stay again, but in the house this time.....Rail carriage was fun and worth the experience...but a tight squeeze..lol (great fun for the kids though) Really nice B&B for the Saturday markets.....
We were very disappointed with our night at Hidden Valley. We had booked the Aladins Cave room and when we arrived after a long drive from Bundaberg, we were told that the manager had double booked our room and we were offered a very ordinary room behind the kitchen. There was no view and it was on the Main Street. We were not offered any discount on the substantial cost of our original room. It was too late to find other accommodation so we stayed. We were offered a room of our choice on another night but the whole experience was spoilt.
We stayed in the tram not the main house and we really enjoyed ourselves. It was cute and quirky. The surroundings are gorgeous, you can't help but feel relaxed from the moment you arrive. The breakfast the next morning was another highlight for us with beautiful views. We would definitely be back.
Friendly staff, excellent hospitality and food, beautiful setting, relaxed atmosphere
Luxury in Eumundi
It was all great
Setting, the coziness of the cabin, staff,
A small coffee table or something would have been good in the cabin
An amazing location. Made to feel very welcome. Beautiful grounds. Staff we're very helpful and friendly. Definitely be back!
We liked everything.
Great yard. Sleeper car has character.
We stayed in the family sized train carriage up on Harmony Hill...the peace up there was complete. We didn't spend enough time on the property to enjoy it properly but it had all we needed.
Couldn't tune in the tv to watch the news and there was no radio...not much to complain about!
Friendly and comforting service and reception. Ideal location .
There is nothing to not like.
Location was great breakfast was good overlooking the gardens from the main house
As a mother and daughter traveling together we found the carriage was too small - could not move about easily, it was hot but cooled down quickly once we turned on the air con. The other part of the carriage was occupied with late arrivals and we were keep up late as they settled in and watched their TV. We heard everything through paper thin walls and could hear them having sex the next morning. Our "room" lacked a TV storage and fridge. If we were fat I don't know how we would have managed! We jostled with each other for the bathroom being two females this was most annoying. I did not sleep at all on top of all this I heard 2 loud freight trains nearby at around 3am and another one at dawn. Would never stay here again. Over priced.
The welcoming and homely atmosphere
The air conditioner got a bit clunky sounding in the nite
Breakfasts, views, location, facilities.
No room service, bed made or fresh towels for second night.
Absolutely lovely, A gorgeous breakfast Owner and her friend couldn't do enough for us.
The hosts were very friendly, beautiful location with a swimmingpool. We slept in a trainwagon what was really nice. The breakfast was delightful, with a beautiful view over the garden. It was our last location before we left back to Europe, we had a late flight but we were invited to stay a bit longer and use the pool what was very nice because it was very hot. Thank you Frizzy and John for your hospitality.
E ray thing about the place; the building, the owners, the details, the setting, the warm friendly nature, the breakfast
No feather pillows
