Needed cleaning badly, dust everywhere
Nothing at all, was really dirty, in a seedy area of town , and had garbage being collected all night up the side alley
the location was perfect.
wish we were told the bar and restaurant was being renovated. made this difficult.
I didn't like how the photo on the website doesn't match the real hotel. $89? I could have booked somewhere nice like 4 stars hotels and appartment and pay the same. The price should be cheaper. It smells nice don't get me wrong. But the room so small and tight! The walls are full of wet drops. And the carpet so sticky. I get that this is an old hotel. Must be a hit back in the days. Honestly didn't mind the old. But I am not so big I am half Asian. And I could not fit or move along the room unless I roll on top the bed. Either renovation or don't make a false advertisement. Thank you DHENZ BRISBANE AUSTRALIA
the rooms are way smaller than they appear to be on the photos... Acceptable if you happen to be a smurf
The room was well below the standard I would expect. TV had fallen off the wall and was just sitting on the desk and didn't work. Alarm clock didn't work, no bath mat, bathroom tap loose and hard to turn on slowly so you didn't squirt yourself. Overall very shabby.
Location .. price
TV didn't work properly
The location is of course great, right in the center.
But... the room that I got was really awful. It was tiny, the bathroom was basically built into the already small room, and most of all, the air con was installed right next to and on one height with the bed. So either I had the air con blow its dry and slightly smelly air directly into my face during to night, or I had to open the window onto a side street (which meant sharing with a few mosquitoes). The bed was okay and clean, but unfortunately that did not apply to the bathroom. I moved out after one night (I had two nights booked in advance), and went to the YHA backpackers instead, which was a much nicer experience.
The room was horrible, not clean, small, nothing worked and the staff was not willing to help... I would defetitely recommend to stay away from this hotel
We just stayed for one night and hurried to the airport the next morning. Closed to queen st mall which is the advantage. Considering the price and we only need a spot to sleep for one night, this place is not that bad and worth the money. Otherwise it will be the last option.
It is REALLY SMALL! Cannot even breath when staying in the bathroom! We had three people and the room is definitely too small for us.
The location was brilliant in the city and close to the bus and train station
No tv in room 210 on the night of the 28/01/15. A tv would have been nice but I was too tired to complain
desk staff could be a bit more friendly when guests entering or leaving premises did not even acknowledge
Location great, short walk from Roma St Station, very easy to find. Good aircon, bed comfy. Easy walking distance to Suncorp Stadium and CIty.
Tiny room, miniature bathroom. Would not book a double room for 2 people - I had enough trouble moving around the room when I was the only person in there.
Good location. House Keeping woman was excellent and assisted right away.
Window blind was broken.
location, location, location and value for money
can't open window no exhaust in bath room
Location. Cheap rooms. TV and refrigerator in the room.
Cramped for space. Cramped bathrooms. Okay for backpackers but not if you want a relaxed vacation.
The air conditioning unit didn't seem to be very efficient.
Central in city and close to railway
The pillows could be a lot better
Poor services, rooms were not safe
The location was great, as was the price. It was a place to sleep and eat at while I was in Brisbane and that was what I booked the room for.
It was a bit squishy, especially in the bathroom, but like I said it did its job. Also there was an odd smell (like paint) in the corridor that I was a little concerned about where it was coming from. Hence the lower result for cleanliness. Would have been handy to know ahead of time what toiletries would be included. I don't mind that there's not going to be shampoo or a face-washer, but knowing so I can pack them can be handy!
staff very helpful,over all good
no soap holder in shower, some power points did not work,no remote for tv
LOCATION EXCELLENT TO MY BUSINESS.
ROOMS TOO SMALL
Quiet, budget hotel Within walking distance to all that I needed. Great airconditioning
My tv didn't work Toilet dripped throughout the night There is no restaurant as advertised on the Internet Older style hotel
Facilities in the room were clean and certainly easy to find
It was claustrophobic how small the room was. You couldn't bend over in the toilet without poking your head into the shower.
We liked the location of the hotel, the price was really cheap, and the room itself was ideal for a short overnight stay.
We didn't like how small the room was and the bathroom was very tiny. Not ideal for families or long stay. Also there was no private parking at the hotel, we had to pay over $50 for off street undercover parking one street over.
