Convenient for the airport, well situated; clean & well maintained room; very good price and helpful staff; and Qantas frequent flyer points are awarded too. |

I loved the Irish bar attached to the motel - particularly enjoyed the live music on Thursday night. |

nice room, friendly and helpful staff, close to Airport, not to far a walking distance from the main shops/cafes in Cairns. Plenty of resturants/places to eat near the Figtree Lodge. But I would not hesitate in staying in Figtree Lodge in the future, very reasonably priced accomodation, and very friendly staff. Could not fault this accomodation one bit. |

The two pools, the friendly staff, the surroundings which seemed like a tropical paradise setting. The Irish Pub was very pleasant and the hotel had a nice outdoor dining experience under a canopy. The room was enormous and had nice kitchen facilities. |

Even though da hotel is set around a lively pub I was not disturbed. There was no noise at night and I felt totally safe and secure. |

Friendly service. Inetrnet computers in the lobby (and especially the net connection itself) were a bit slow. During one night, the air conditioning was not working which caused us a bit uncomfort. |

the location was ok (if traveling by car), the staff was really kind and helpful, the pool was really nice. Basically everything was almost perfect. The lack of wireless connection in the rooms. |

The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was the best we have had so far in Australia. The hotel was well situated for the City and had a great atmosphere. |

The restaurant and the bar 1- Venitian blind on the window, very old, impossible to make darkness into the bedroom during daytime. 2- Air conditionning unit, very old and noisy. 3- Too far from the centre of Cairns (40 mn walk). 4- No lift, difficulties for accessing the 2nd floor with 50 kg of bagages. |
