Foreshore Tavern

The motel is new, staffs are helpful, unless you need to reach the reception in their restaurant and they are mostly busy, but still they are helpful. We feel comfortable during our stay. There is another bakery, we like that bakery much, and not far from, the motel is just by the sea, we feel relaxing during our stay.

A ard 30 mins drive from Hobart city.

It was in a great location for the purpose of our visit for a family wedding

Housekeeping was ok, but it could be improved.

Close to the airport, very clean,no noise, excellent food at the restaurant, staff very helpful,and friendly.

Loved staying here, the tavern is quite new and the food is absolutely fantastic. the staff were very nice and helpful and the rooms are very new and really nice.

Nice new facility.

Everything closes at 8pm and no there are no staff onsite. So don't lock yourself out of your room.

a bit far from hobart city

My elderly father and I enjoyed the friendliness of the cleaning staff. In particular, when I was ill, they were most concerned and offered to ring a doctor or get more towels when I required them. They explained the cleaning routine over the Christmas period. As a very personal touch, on Christmas Day, a delicious box of truffles & Christmas card had been left in our room.

you need a car to get around but benefit of staying other side of the water was good.

Being in the middle of winter with no heating.Your split level heater does not work.

For our 4-night stay, the room was very comfortable and well-designed. The dinner we had in the Tavern Bistro was one of the best we had in our 9 day Tassie trip.

On 1 day the 2 bins were not emptied during room service and a bathroom floor mat was not provided.

Great people, good price, nice rooms. Good food at the tavern.

My only real problem with the the Foreshore Tavern were that the photos on the website weren't very useful - low res and quality so it was a bit of a gamble.

Nice, clean, new room. Field next to the hotel for kids to have a kick of a ball or run around. Bistro contains kids playroom.

Suggest including a microwave in the room. Limited restaurant choice - one.

Das Hotel ist ganz neu. Es liegt ca 20 Minuten vom Flughafen und eignet sich für einen Ziwschenstopp, wenn man abends mit dem Flieger ankommt und am nächsten Morgen weiterfahren will.

Es liegt weit außerhalb von Hobart und von weiteren Sehenswürdigkeiten. Das Motel liegt direkt hinter einer Spielhalle und die Räume 1 bis 7 hören den abendlichen Lärm, wenn die Gäste der Spielhalle bei schönem Wetter draußen feiern. Es gibt ( noch?) kein Internet und die Räume sind eher dunkel. Es gibt eine Mninterasse mit Zaun hinter jedem Zimmer. Aufgrund der lage ist das Motel nur sehr bedingt zu empfehlen. Hobart ist vom Flughafen genauso schnell zu erreichen.
