ibis Budget - Gosford (formerly Formule 1)  

You get what you pay for. It's very basic but it's clean and is ideal for those who just need a bed for the night and won't be spending much time at the motel. Close to shops and restaurants and right behind McDonalds - what more could you ask for?

When you have a shower you tend to flood the bathroom so it's hard to dry off properly in the bathroom.

Everything clean

Room very small, no tea or coffee, no refrigerator, free coffee machine downstairs not operating, manager very ignorant cannot even greet you with a good morning.

Window didnt close properly which meant we woke up to the smell of the smokers out the front of the hotel. Bathroom is a bit too basic if staying for more than one night. When we showered the bathroom floor was entirely covered in water with no bath mat provided even though it would get soaked anyway. A small hairdryer on the wall would have been a useful addition.

Probably one of the best Ibis Budget hotels in Australia. Super clean, friendly staff and comfortable beds. Free parking and free tea and coffee until 10pm. Great value for money option.

The facilities are limited (but very well kept).

The room was inviting and bathroom clean. The window was thick and kept out the noise from McD and the car park.

Small window opening and perhaps if the blind started from the bottom some sunlight could still be enjoyed without losing privacy.

Not really a complaint, just some confusion over the dates I had booked through booking.com but staff were very efficient regardless.

The bathroom in the family room in shocking! No matter what angle you put the shower head the water ran out under the door and on the carpet. I also think its a bit silly having the family rooms on the top floor with no lift.

Our room although compact, was all we needed, the bed comfy, the shower was really good.We will stay again

The people in the red BMW using the carpark reserved for those with disabilities when they were obviously able bodied .Young and fit , league player with his partner and a child.

Excellent beds

Location was handy for our requirements and the price was good. The room was clean and satisfied our needs for one night.

All of bathroom/toilet floor got wet when using the shower, no storage/wardrobe and no power point (to recharge phone).

Room needed ventilation as smelt like chlorine. Aircon was noisy and in effective

Pouring rain, window left open, towels and room very damp feeling. Carpet also wet.

Great, clean cheap accommodation that was just what we needed for a brief overnight stay.

Easy to find and was very adequate for an overnight stay. Rooms were small.

a small bar fridge and coffee & tea facilities in the room would have been beneficial. The communal fridge was full and the tea & coffee was not readily seen in the foyer area.

Location was good as shops were near by. Mac ears was just opposite. It was clean comfortable and good value for money.

Locartion to the tennis, Macdonalds, bush and creek.

Cost. Location. Parking.

No facilities to make a cup of tea or coffee. No lift for upper floors. Shower area - water runs all over floor and there was not even a bath mat.

It was relatively cheap. It was clean (too clean?). No insects, flying or otherwise. The location was good - with Maccas just outside for snacks etc., and good meals available at the nearby local club and Trackside restaurant. It basically provided the needs of short-term visitors.

Tiny room. One small bit of soap for two people. It smelled strongly of amonia and bleach - I doubt any insect could survive in the fumes.
