Fountainside Hotel  

Everything! This hotel is fantastic and the staff were wonderfull, It is close to everything and though it was on the main road you couldn't hear and traffic.

Meals in restaurant were very nice and reasonably priced. The rooms were large and well furnished and very clean. A handy lift ,no stairs. Well stocked bar fridge. Short distance to the city centre. Reception staff well presented and courtous.

Although doubleglazed windows reduced the traffic noise, it was still a bit irritating.

Alison at the reception was amazing and went the extra mile to help us with a problem that we had. Liked the beautiful view from the room, and the bathroom.

Hotel room was spotlessly clean and bed very comfortable. Hotel staff friendly and helpful and Megan at the front desk recommended some fantastic Hobart restaurants. Breakfast and minibar options were good too and reasonably priced. Only a short 5-10 minute walk away from the waterfront area.

Wifi didn't work on my phone or iPad, but we were really too busy exploring Hobart for this to be too much of an issue.

staff were extremely friendly and helpful, everything had been thought of, every additional cost (room service, mini bar etc.) was deliberately priced at supermarket cost which is very unusual these days and a real privelage, rooms were small but well set up and clean, thoroughly recommend this hotel

Comfy large king bed. Heated loo seat! Great location, 5 minutes walk to the dock, 10 to the markets. Ridiculously cheap mini-bar - literally at the same price you would pay at the supermarket/bottle shop. Good value buffet b'fast ($11.80). Free parking.

Plenty of parking. Very handy to shops, restaurants, ferry terminal, and Salamanca Square. Very reasonable prices for meals, drinks and accommodation.

Friendly efficient staff on checkin and with every encounter throughout my stay, clean room, comfortable bed, good products in the bathroom, well priced mini bar, above average large size room, great location walking distance to everything, well priced.

The hotel is excellent value for money. The rooms are of a very good standard, the wifi is excellent (after the system was re-booted), breakfast is very good value for money as is the mini-bar. Did not dine in-house, so cannot comment. Would recommend to anybody.
