The staff on the front desk when we arrived were very welcoming. The view from the room was what was requested and was very picturesque

Location, design, cleanliness, decor and many more.

The location of The Four Seasons is great. We were able to walk,bus and use the ferries across the harbour from the hotel,to all of our tourist destination. I would certainly recommend this hotel to our friends and family. It's not cheap, but well worth the extra!

The Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney is the most amazing Hotel to stay at as it provides everything a guest requires in the way of location, comfortable well stocked rooms, Restaurants, CocktailBar and the best ever welcoming and accomodating Staff.

Although this was an expensive hotel the experience just staying at Four Seasons was absolutely wonderful. We had booked for a harbour/city view room..expected city view but was surprised with a harbour view. The Woods Restaurant food was absolutely lovely and took less than no time to forefill. And the buffet breakfast was enormous and so much variety.

The only down side which did not hinder us a great deal was that the cleaning staff knock on our door not long after we arrived at the room and as they did not get an answer they went to enter the room. They asked if we were ordering room service. Was not happy that they were going to enter room without us there.

The pool

The room I had was pretty small and the insulation poor. I was disrupted by other guests in the corridor due to the poor sound proofing. The room looked old fashioned, as did the rest of the hotel. The entire hotel really needs a good overhaul to make it a competitor of its other hotels dotted around the world. The brand and what you associate with four seasons was definitely not met on this occasion.

I had to call front desk 2 times before someone could come and fix the dvd player. The air con wasn't cold at all and the booking was a present already paid for. To our surprise when we arrived we had to pay on our credit card and we didn't account for the expense seeing as someone already paid for it on their card and we had to call and ask them to transfer the money from their card to ours. Lucky it was a family member otherwise it would have been extremely embarrassing. Not happy at all.

The view of Circular Quay was the reason we stayed there, as a special treat for my 60th, after being on the 'Dawn Princess' from Melbourne.

The hotel was very clean and smelt beautiful as there were fresh lillies all through the foyer. The breakfast was amazing- massive selection and the staff were pleasant and polite. Nice touch was the piano man during breakfast and the speedy service offered by the wait staff.

On Booking.com it looked like we were getting a 'harbour/city view room' which technically we did as you could see the water and some buildings however the photos displayed for this room showed the bridge and the Opera House, which we could not see either. And for the high price I thought we should have at least had that view. The other thing was I asked the concierge if it cost extra for parking and he said 'No mam' and when we checked out there was a 60 parking fee! Which was un-expected.

Nice hotel, not very personable but good quality, efficient and pleasant to stay.

The only place to meet and have a coffee was the foyer restaurant and it wasn't comfortable or good situation for meeting. The lovely mezzanine bar was closed to general guests.
