Mantons creek is set in a very pretty vineyard. The rooms are very well decorated and comfortable. There is a sitting area downstairs which would be great in the winter with a fireplace. We didnt have time to experience the lovely terrace outside unfortunately.
We stayed at Mantons creek for 3 nights and in that time our bed was not made nor were any of the towels changed for the price of our accommodation I was very surprised The breakfast was just okay, but i could not understand why when we obviously didnt like the cinnamon yoghurt they kept putting another lot in the fridge for the next morning. One morning they even forgot the cutlery and crockery for breakfast altogether. there is no wifi on the property we had trouble getting a phone signal. The airconditioner only just works maybe needs a service.
The venue is not large, there are a total of four rooms. We went for my 50th birthday with another couple. The rooms overlook the vineyard and there is a first class restaurant where we had dinner. Very relaxing and we were even given a complementary bottle of wine and lovely breakfast.
Nothing it was the perfect place to start my Birthday weekend!
Never heard of Mantons Creek before but was pleasantly surprised by the quaint nature of the place. The most amazing view from the balcony of the room overlooking the vineyard.
Location, views, staff and facilities were excellent
We stayed early in the week so couldnt eat at the property in the evening which would have been easier as we had a 2 year old but breakfast was delicious
Service was good very friendly . Perfect place for a quiet weekend away
-the furniture from our suite to the general venue was elagant & built for comfort
No smoking on the outside balcony
Perfectly quiet and sweet for a quick stay down the Peninsula and perfect for a stroll home from dinner at Ten Minutes by Tractor
The room was well appointed. The venue was stunning.
The water pressure in the bathroom was poor. On the first night of our stay it took forever for the hot water to come through. On the second morning of our stay we had no hot water and very little water pressure. We paid for the King Muscat room and we were told that we were being updated. We had already paid for the top room. Friends also booked the same venue had a similar room and paid less. I think the our booking was mixed up. Breakfast dishes weren't removed until the afternoon. No coffee cups were provided on the second day. We looked for them in the cabinet outside our bedroom and there were none there either. There were tea cups though. I wouldn't go back to this venue.
Great location. Close to wineries and restaurants. Well appointed room with beautiful views across the vineyard. Very comfortable bed.
No staff available to show us to our room when we arrived. Manager was busy attending to a busy room of wine tasters so we had to wait for about 30 mins. Cold breakfast on tray was presented well and tasty however no choice was provided. Website said cooked breakfast. This was not available.
Very comfortable bed and room. Great guest lounge.
Lack of water pressure and flow in shower. Noise carries a bit between rooms.
The shower was not strong at all and temperature was really hard to adjust
Beautiful location and venue. Nice food and facilities.
Staff didn't know how to check us in at Reception. Not made overly welcome on the greeting as staff were stressed with Mothers Day lunch. Was our one year Anniversary, which was important to us.
very private, great boutique winery
Lovely retreat. Absolutely friendly and clean. Gorgeous surroundings and good wines.
Dinner curfew is quite early...
Beautiful scenery, fantastic service, down to earth kind and friendly owners Yummy breakfast!
we did enjoy our stay. the place was clean and staff very friently and helpful.
we thought we are getting a breakfast in the restaurant in the morning. instead we had a tray left outside our room in the afternoon with bids and pieces. we did realise it was there till after dinner, being a hot day the milk went off.
The quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Wonderful location, great spot to spend a romantic weekend. Food was good.
Breakfast was not that great and the room was definitely not worth $400 per one night. $200 would be already well paid since it is a Bed and Breakfast.
the surroundings and quite it was very relaxing, the staff were very friendly and do anything for you just a good way to spend away
Excellent breakfast - really delicious Good quality products in the bathroom - such a pleasure to use
Just something people need to be aware of - location is on an unmade road and my phone had no reception. I was going to an evening wedding several km away and was quite concerned about returning alone. Manager was excellent and allowed me to phone ahead and then kept an ear out for me - much appreciated.
Loved the small winery - very cosy only 4 rooms but able to use lounge and bar areas..very peaceful surrounds. Breakfast was lovely.
Bed was old and even though it was a king size it was uncomfortable. The water pressure was terrible - had to have very quick uncomfortable showers.
We were felt very welcomed. The food was fantastic not a big choice but what we had was faultless. Room was very comfortable and clean. Service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive.
The resturant could have a little more atmosphere. Some music playing would be nice, Just so that you cannot hear other couple conversations. If there was music it was very low.
