Once you arrive at the Lodge you put all stress behind you. Relaxing on the terrace with our complimentary glass of Prosecco, play a game of tennis, soak your tired limbs in the spa and enjoy a professional massage treatment. Pick a book out of our library or watch one of the many movies offered on Foxtel. Garasu Lodge has been superbly renovated and refurbished. The beds are hotel quality fitted with crisp white cotton sheets. Wake up by birds singing. Make yourself an Espresso and watch the local wildlife. On request a breakfast tray is available filled with fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, bread and/or pastry. Let us know if you have likes or dislikes and we try our utmost to accommodate you. Let us ensure you that our hygiene is kept at the highest grade, particularly in these uncertain times. Most important, you are not sharing the Lodge and its in/outdoor facilities with other guests. Garasu Lodge is your own little private resort.

Both my husband and I are trained and have worked in the hospitality business for many years. I am also an artist and run Garasu Art Studio on site. You may want to book in for art classes. Food is another one of my passions. We have lived in this region for 30 years and can point out the best restaurants and places to visit, all personally tested. Nearby parks ideal for a picnic or BBQ are plentiful. Dog friendly cafes and beaches, all not a problem.

The Gold Coast is famous for their golden beaches, Casino, restaurants and theme parks, such as Movie World, Dream World, Sea World will keep the kids happy. Go shopping at Robina Town Centre, only 10 min drive away. It has a huge array of fashion and specialty shops. The quaint Mudgeeraba Village is worth a visit. Enjoy a lunch or coffee inside the Village Market. Treat yourself and your wife to a superb meal at the Wine Barrel or Morsels in Mudgeeraba. Other places to visit are: Byron Bay, Bangalow, Springbrook Falls, Tamborine Mountains, Natural Bridge and Currumbin Rock Pools. Brisbane is only 1 hour drive from here with its Entertainment Center, Museums and Galleries.
