Friendly staff, particularly lovely house-keeping staff. Spacious rooms with pretty garden Previous guests had obviously smoked in the room. Curtains needed a little maintenance

The location and general quietness are a big reason for staying at the Gardenia. The rooms are a good size and quite comfortable.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location suited my needs as it was very close to Chester Hill where I needed to be. I will be staying here next time I come to Sydney with friends. Even though it is advertised as having a BBQ area, it had not been used for about 2 years and appeared dirty. As a result we ended up eating out all the time. Not having a playground will prevent me from staying here when I come to Sydney with my grandchildren.

the convenience of it's position for what we needed. The staff at Gardenia are extremely friendly and accommodating. Facilities are all we needed.

From the first contact I made to request an early check in, until the time I handed the key back, the staff were wonderfully helpful and friendly. Everything was great value for the price.

They staff are very friendly and accommodating to any needs, house keeping staff made the room brand new each day during my six day stay and the reception/owners are good blokes.

It was very clean. The owner was odd. It took me half an hour to work out how to turn on the air conditioning. I was on the first floor so I had to climb stairs to my room. The TV signal faded in and out.

Lätt åtkomligt via större infarter från både norr & söder. Helt tyst trots läget vid en viktigt genomfart. Trevlig gård & loftgångar. Fina rum. Nope.

The price is reasonable, and with family living close by the location was good for us.It would not be so convenient for those wishing to see Sydney sights Needs some maintenance eg window held open by a plastic bag, basin cracked.

The customer service was fine To get to my room there was no other way but to go up stairs, not good if you have luggage or a disability. The radio didn't work or the alarm. The power point didn't work in the bathroom.

Nice Room - friendly manager Had to pay for a guest key, who was late, before the key would be handed out. Most other motels where this happens are quite happy to give the key and have the people pay the next morning.

Just the price We only stayed here because it didn't cost over $200/night in Sydney. If you are a family of four it is very difficult to find a room. Even so, when I booked on booking.com and put in 2 adults 2 children at every point I could enter this information, apparently the room was only booked for 2 adults, so the manager gave us a hard time about really he should be charging us $175/night. Which is absurd, as this place was pretty sad. It looked like the furniture, including beds, had been there for 30 years. Basics were present, but the lighting, beds and carpet were so old and decrepit I just couldnt be comfortable. You would be better off camping.
