The most amazing place to end our holiday. Relaxing, in beautiful location, amazingly helpful staff superb breakfast outside on the veranda, loads of wildlife to spot and nature trail for the children. Communal area very comfy.
Nothing, everything was perfect
Breakfast was lovely the scenery was nice and lovely customer service
The people staying above is were really heavy footed and it echoed through the floor. With trying to get toug kids to sleep made it very difficult
Everything is wonderful especially the nature look
Impressive Train cabin for meals and artistic metal work.
Spread of breadfast is limited and hope they can be improved further.
Lovely tucked away location with an extensive range of fruit trees from all over the world. Really enjoyed walking through this and trying different fruit. Loved the nostalgia of the railway carriages for our dining and cooking. It would be nice to have a little pot belly stove or something in there for warmth though as it did get a little chilly.
Mattress was hard compared to what we're use to, so woke up feeling bit sore and stiff.
We liked it all particularly the staff , particularly Robin
Loved the carriage and the historical information given by staff. Recycling plants was excellent.
The friendly welcoming hosts who couldn't do enough for you. The amazing location. The practical sustainability. The bed was really comfortable. The rooms were nice and clean. No TV in the room. The cooking facilities in the old train were excellent, clean and well stocked with everything you would need to cook a gourmet meal. The breakfast on the deck was perfect. Hospitality system was great. It was an honesty system and a can of beer was only $3. Can't wait to go back and stay for longer than just passing through.
Nothing. We loved it all.
Genuine staff who really go the extra mile to assist.Excellent breakfast and the option to use the kitchen facilities is a boon. Lovely idyllic settingwith some fun quirky garden elements, and the chance to learn about local horticulture and bush tucker. Railway carriage had a well equipped kitchen and lovely verandah. An interesting and hospitable place to be in the Glasshouse Mountains and not far from services by car. The charming town of Maleny - and good dining options - is also easy to reach from this location. The Reserve was a great place to sample the local haute cuisine.
Bed in railway carriage was a little on the tight side. Needs a shelf for glasses etc on the wall as no side tables.
Needs washing facilities for guests who are there for two or more nights.
A wondeful place near the Australia Zoo, wonderful garden, nice shared kitchen for all guests in a romantic old waggon, great to hike around the beautiful mountains. We loved this place.
Very nice and quiet place.
The whole atmosphere was beautiful. We had a fireplace and the Church was gorgeous. Robyn and Rick were attentive, helpful and lovely people.
Welcoming and caring staff. A beautiful spot, and unique accommodation in the restored train carriage. Lovely.
Not keen on cooking my own eggs for a paid breakfast.
We loved having the freedom of various options at our disposal - using the kitchen carriage to make our own meals or bringing a take-out pizza back to eat at the dining area with cutlery etc from the kitchen. Lots of fridge & freezer space for us to put our water bottles & snacks for the next day too. We all loved the 'Library Carriage' & the enormous chess set. It's not very often we all get to sit & relax in one room. Loved the books in there too. Furniture in our actual room was gorgeous!! I'd love it for my own home! Breakfast was lovely - always a highlight for the kids to have a 'buffet breakfast' & it didn't fail to delight!
Need more throws on the 'Library' leather sofas - when we stood up we were all covered in bits of leather!!
A great quiet place to get away. Nice to be somewhere without TV etc. We enjoyed preparing and eating meals in the converted train carriage and getting to meet a lot of interesting people. We also enjoyed wandering around the garden and trying out fruit. Great location with good walking tracks nearby. Very helpful staff.
We only booked for three nights and would have gladly stayed longer.
Clean facility and very friendly staff here.
No amenities in room, no fridge, coffee maker, and wi fi only available it one area.

Not having TV Sometimes books and magazines does not satisfied customer especially on rainy days
Location was great for all types of walks
Management was a bit overbearing and in your face
beautiful setting, very quiet
too many mosquitos, not so suitable for small children
Everything about the place was brilliant.
Nothing not to like.
Communal cooking facilities were top notch.
I got bit lots by mozzies - but they seem to like me anyway. Wear repellant and you'll be fine.
Peaceful and quiet. Great breakfast and very friendly welcome by the manager. Novel dinning hall. Love the recycling set up and eco friendly approach to the whole complex
