No fridge or tea making facilities in rooms picture on booking site did not show rooms we stayed in
Really great place to stay. Fab facilities in adjoining railway carriage. Peaceful location & great for exploring the area. In January, it will be awesome to pick the fruit straight from the tree!
Set in nature, close to great views, walks and food. Staff were friendly and hospitable, nothing too much trouble.
Would prefer basic cooking facilities in my own unit rather than shared kitchen.
Beautiful view and quiet environment, so kind staff and owner
Setting was delightful and peaceful; collection of buildings was quaint. Owner was friendly, helpful and informative.
The lovely old trams and the surroundings
A radio/cd player to play some music
We stayed in the green railway carriage which was a real novelty but also very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The kitchen in the carriage and the communal one is really well stocked with equipment, crockery and even a small amount of essentials such as oil and milk. Met the owner the next day who was really friendly and helpful with planning our day. Would definitely recommend.
A tiny point - the wifi hotspot is by the church so not available in the carriages. Fine during the day but would have been nice to have it available at night as it was dark by 6 and most people seem to be in their rooms by then.
Good scenery and very quiet.
No dining option available My bed was not made during my stay
Loved the fact that we were staying in and old Queenslander railway carriage.
Location Breakfast Kindness of staff
- the soul of a place - friendly staff - a stunning orchard - exploration games for children - close to Glass House Mountains - good walking tracks nearby
Nice place. Great hosts.
Squeaky bed. Thin walls. No hot water in the morning
Lack of room facilities ( not even a glass for drink of water)
Ambiance and quite of the surrounds made for a very relaxing and peaceful holiday. Excellent and accommodating hosts.
cozy places to relax in the garden and chill out on the day bed on verandah read a book ,. the community feeling, peaceful, Educational walks, community garden , friendly hosts lots of local knowledge!! great wild life birds, bush turkeys etc Wonderful !!
ahh our bed was a bit hard .
The scenery is magnificent and so close, literally at the back door. The accommodation was very comfortable and the whole setup of the place was inspiring.
Some of our group had issues with the hot water but it was resolved.
The location and grounds
I know it's supposed to be a Eco lodge but how does that mean no fridge or coffee and tea facilities in your room, and no Tv not even a communal one, I get that some people like to get away from it all etc etc but some also like to keep up with news weather and sports. And no noise reduction between rooms you can hear people snoring next door
Fantastic location and such a unique concept. Very well equipped. So close to the mountains with Tibrogorgan just a few hundred meters down the road. Great service and very comfortable. Good value!
The most amazing place to end our holiday. Relaxing, in beautiful location, amazingly helpful staff superb breakfast outside on the veranda, loads of wildlife to spot and nature trail for the children. Communal area very comfy.
Nothing, everything was perfect
Breakfast was lovely the scenery was nice and lovely customer service
The people staying above is were really heavy footed and it echoed through the floor. With trying to get toug kids to sleep made it very difficult
Everything is wonderful especially the nature look
Impressive Train cabin for meals and artistic metal work.
Spread of breadfast is limited and hope they can be improved further.
Loved the friendly staff and homely relaxing eco setup and location at the foothills of Glasshouse Mountains. Very romantic.
Lovely tucked away location with an extensive range of fruit trees from all over the world. Really enjoyed walking through this and trying different fruit. Loved the nostalgia of the railway carriages for our dining and cooking. It would be nice to have a little pot belly stove or something in there for warmth though as it did get a little chilly.
Mattress was hard compared to what we're use to, so woke up feeling bit sore and stiff.
