Adjacent to Country Club so no need to drive for drinks and dinner. Staff were very happy to send by post some earrings that I had left in my room.

Magnificant views to the hills overlooking pastures full of cows complete with a beautiful sunset all at our back door, plus a very comfortable bed at the end of the day.

there is real need of a kitchenette /sink etc for purpose of making tea/rinsing micro wave meals. a little disappointed that workers staying at motel disturbed the peace with their 'announced' early start;particularly for those who have come away for relaxation/sleep-in etc....was unable to connect my laptop with internet

Good value, love countryside location.

The room was quite large and very clean. Rear sliding door opened to a beautiful view of the mountains with cattle grazing close by. There is a golf course next door for those who enjoy a game. A short drive to town gave access to many cafes and interesting shops. Breakfast was good and a reasonable price. Will go back and stay longer next time.

What was there not to like? The room was large, well designed and the bed comfortable set in an ideal location to relax. A stoll along a pathway took us to the Country Club for an inexpensive bistro meal. A very pleasant ovenight stay away from the Christmas rush.

This is a very standard country town motel, but for some reason we really liked it. It is located slightly out of Gloucester town centre and the back of the motel has stunning countryside views. Each room has a door at the back, and a wide verandah with seating allows guests to sit outside and enjoy the lovely outlook. At first we were concerned that it wasn't closer to the town centre as we don't want to worry about drinking and driving when eating out. However it is next door to a golf club, where we had a hearty and tasty meal that was very reasonably priced.

The most comfortable hotel bed I have slept in! Travel a lot for work and room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Staff/management excellent. In actual fact we ended up staying extra night instead of driving home. Food in restaurant was excellent also. Would definitely stay again.

The motel is very comfortable with good parking facilities and has an excellent breakfast. There is a good restaurant next door to the motel. The staff are pleasant and helpful.

This was a good a motel as any at which we have stayed. No complaints.

The welcoming greeting we received on arrival. The situation of the Motel was close to the Town and very relaxing. Proprietors friendly and co-operative.

We arrived by motorcycle and found our room was above average in terms of space. Our host was very communicative and helpful and recommended excellent places to eat in Gloucester.

A little too far from away from the shops and cafes for a comfortable walk.

A comment from the owner that stated she supported mining in a beautiful valley which will obviously be destroyed and make the destination no longer attractive to tourists.

The setting was beautiful ! The staff were excellent ! The standard of the Motel was excellent and the location - proximity to features of the area was excellent. Would definitely consider further visits to the Motel and would definitely recommend it to friends and family ! a great weekend away ! Thank you !

Situated on the outskirts of Gloucester, it was bordered by the golf course and farmland, which made for a relaxing environment and scenic outlook which made for a welcome stopover for travellers.

Location, views, quiet, convenient for our needs

The greeting we received as we walked into Reception was less than professional or friendly. The woman was more interested in mucking around with her son on the main computer than actually talking to us.I wondered who was actually booking us in...her or her 8 old son Not a good look for a business in a small town...If you are in the tourist industry some training in how to serve your clients would be a good idea.
