The room was well serviced and all requests were met promptly. On arrival there were insufficient towels for 2 people. Empty tissue box was not replaced. We were not notified in advance that our tour coach was diverted to the other Grand Chancellor in Adelaide because of road closures. |

Good staff Rather faded - rooms require modernisation. Terrible aroma of stale chip fat pervading the lobby / restaurant meant unable to eat in hotel or sit in lounge area. |

We liked two double beds in the room rather than the singles usually provided for two ladies requiring twin share facilities. The fact that there was no one in reception or the whole of the ground floor of the hotel when we arrived. Very poor. Also, the very high bath in the bathroom was dreadful - can't imagine how older people cope. |

Not sure if this hotel should be rated four stars. I've stayed at other 4 star hotels, and in my view the facilities were better. |

Proximity to Town Hall, shops, entertainment etc. What felt like earthquakes but might have been the operation of the lift |

The helpfulness of the staff and the central location made it a very convenient and pleasant place to stay. The only thing we missed was the option of an electric blanket. We didn't ask for one so we can't complain. Being from Tasmania we are probably more used to having one..also we are getting older (66) so perhaps we are a bit more sensitive to cold! |

The king size bed was good, very comfortable and good sheeting made it also nice. I found the directions for after-hours entry did not work. We tried the side door but our key didn't open the door. Had to use the front door buzzer. |

Central location to all city restauranats and shopping. Football bus pick-up and drop off. Barossa pick-up and drop off. Message not passed on which had been left whilst we were on an outing, which resulted in us not meeting people we had travelled to Adelaide to visit. |

We went to the theatre, went for a walk around the city, looked at the state library, had a massage on rundle street. the restaurant needs to be a bit more accessible.. not just for breakfast. Needs a bar for night time guests. |

The hotel has lovely big rooms, very comfortable lobby and is close to the main city shopping centre in Adelaide. They charge by the minute for Internet Connection fee which is a bit yesterday. It would be better to have at least a free hot spot in the lobby. Interestingly, we found no hot spots in down town Adelaide and when we inquired people said to go to the library and get in line. |

We had to get our electronic keys recoded 3 times which meant that we were locked out on 3 occasions in 24 hrs. The couch had chewing gum stuck on the arm rest and the shower had mould in the grout. A very poor experience |

I personally loved this hotel, the staff were friendly, the Staff bent over backwards to be helpful and courtious from the Reception Staff to the Cleaning Staff and the service in the cafe was both quick and delicious. The gym was a great asset, it was clean and up to date. One of things that was disappointing after a day of touring was that the spa was cold most of the time and after staying there six nights, it wasn't very encouraging. The other thing was that there needs to be a better extractor in the kitchen as cooking smells were very off putting in the evening, so bad that we couldn't eat there because of the smell of old fat or oils. |
