were not informed of the renovations that were taking place during our stay. The drilling in the room above was constant for two days and almost intolerable. |

Loved the buffet breakfast...such a cheap package for night/breakfast.....such yummy pastries, bacon & eggs, etc.....wish we could have stayed longer! Beds were very hard. Shower floor was same level as bathroom (disabled type) so had water everywhere. |

The service was friendly and efficent, would stay there again. Nice pool and gym room available. Fantastic resturant down the road called Hollywood Hills that we would recommend. Do not go to the Indian Resturant a few doors down the meal wasnt very nice at all and we felt uncomfortable in the dinning room due to the volume of staff with nothing to do other than stare at you while you were eating. The room we first got when we checked in, the bathroom was dirty in particular the toilet had not been cleaned and was filthy. Once I advised reception we were quickly directed to a new room which was clean and tidy. The service we got from reception was friendly and efficent. Our new room was quiet and had lovely views. |

The beds and room were fine. We stayed there because we had a Steadfast meeting to attend the following day. Meals were good. The lifts not working and a very small bathroom was annoying. Would have preferred the price of the voucher for the lift not working to be deducted off the room price. |

very well presented. all staff were very porfessional. The Buffet Breakfast had a very large selection and ample room. Food was scrumptious. the 'standard room' size was rather small and cramped. I know you can pay more for a deluxe room or superior room... |

The swimming pool, the view and the restaurant and its friendly wait staff. I liked that we could leave our bags without any hassle. The cabs came quickly. The noise from the renovations in the afternoon! I didn't like the lack of a sewing kit in the room and the lack of a newspaper at the door although I got these by asking at reception. |

The location of the hotel was great-everything we needed or wanted to do was within walking distance. The staff were extremely helpful and the service was very quick. The late check-out was great too. General housekeeping was good but our room definitely needed a more thorough clean and maintenance. |

The view from the balcony was nice, the room layout was adequate for our needs and the housekeeping was excellent. The rooms near our room were being renovated so we had to put up with some building noise. We generally enjoyed our stay. The small bathroor was not guest friendly. If you were not completely agile it would be difficult to climb over the bath to enter the shower. Adding to this was the soap holder which narrowed the shower space even more - very poorly thought-out. We were informed that the bathrooms will be renovated soon!! |

Overall hotel staff service was excellent Saturday evening 10/10/09 an extremely noisy function in the court yard... when I rang to highlight its impact, was responded to by the receptionist 11pm "so what" in a very blunt and uncivil manner. |

The staff were particularly friendly and helpful. The rate was good value for money. The Hotel is great - however it's location is a little problematic. It is close to the CBD on the map and within easy walking distance - but as Brisbane is so hilly - the walk home is too difficult - necessitating a taxi or public transport back to the Hotel. |

Good Location. This is definately not a four star Hotel, I would not pay any more than $120 a night to stay there if I was to stay again. The rooms were small and run down, the hotel was being renovated while we were there so it was more like a construction site. The gym consisted of an out of order treadmill, one exercycle, one weight machine and some dumb bells. Every time we went to use the spa it was either cold, empty or being cleaned.Good budget accomodation but thats about all!!!! |
