I could have a joke with the staff
... the buttons on the elevator
Excellent location to everything we needed. Excellent friendly staff, very helpful.
Disappointed we couldn't book back in when we came back from our touring due to being booked out.
Very nice hotel, great bathrooms and comfy bed!! Will defs go back!
It is in a very good spot, just a short stroll to Salamanca. The bed was very comfortable and the cleaners did a fantastic job! The whole stay was excellent!
the room and the quality and choice of the breakfasts...and the lovely helpful breakfast lady cook who cooked my eggs to perfection.....
the tv as it didn't come up to standard ....difficult to find channels seemed a small screen for room...
Definiteley the views: from the front and back rooms of hotel. We had a room with multiple views.
The view was wonderful, Staff at reception upon arrival were fantastic, Bar staff were fantastic.
Shower was a bit small & appeared a bit outdated. The loud noise of flowing water from another room was very evident in our room. Breakfast was very expensive.
The hotel was modern, fresh, clean and welcoming. Everything about it says luxury, exactly what you want when away from home. I would not hesitate in booking at the Hotel Grand Chancellor Hobart for my next visit.
Location to the city
Parking has a very low ceiling. I have a work vehicle with a flashing light that is too high to fit under.
Location is awesome overlooking the harbour
The harbour views The comfy beds Refurbished room
Temperature of the pool! For the winter months - A couple of degrees warmer and we would have stayed in more than a minute.
room facilities were great , will stay again ..
had to keep walking past reception from carpark to lifts to room .. didn't like stepping into bath to take a shower , felt unsafe ,, & I'm fit !!
Fabulous view like no other
Noisy airconditioning fan and poor control system
Motel was beautiful and grand, great views and everything you could need in a Hotel they provide
Our bathroom was wheelchair accessible and fills the entire floor taking a long time to dry. Due to this it also had a very strong smell in the room.
Stayed here many times over the years. Excellent deal with a large corner room. No view, but huge room.
Bathrooms looking a little tired.
The staff are professional and friendly. It is like being welcomed into their own home. The hotel should be very proud of their staff.
Door did not open with card. Had to call for assistance numerous times.
Very happy with every other aspect of the hotel. Cleaning ladies did a very nice job
Expensive restaurant prices. Risotto and beetroots not sufficient. Other plates could've had a bit more food, especially when somebody doesn't want to go for two or three course meal. Parking should be offered free to hotel guests.
staff who lie
Our room was upgraded on arrival and the view over the water was spectacular. The room was large, modern and clean and the staff were helpful. Location was ideal for seeing the city on foot.
Restaurant food overpriced
Very comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful.
