Near everything. Coffee shop behind hotel. Close to monkeys.
central location. spacious room
mobile air conditioning unit was very noisy when operating so we turned it off. Pillows terrible as they were flat & hard. Door stop in bathroom/toilet badly situated on the floor - making it a toe cruncher in the night
Convenient location, Good reception service, very helpful suggested things to see in Launceston that weekend
Great position, efficient professional staff, great facilities.
As it appears big renovations are underway, we were happy to accept the noisy temporary air conditioner and open the windows instead.
We loved the space and ambience, the helpfulness of friendly staff, lovely large room and closeness to everything.
Clean and comfortable hotel with friendly staff.
We had 4 people staying in the room but only 2 towels were left in the bathroom.
Tv Chanels were lousy. Showers in baths are not cool.
Location is good
Noisy room conditioner, and Wifi, parking should be inclusive
Room size and comfortable bed
Loud portable air conditioner
Very clean rooms. close to city block. close to caffe's. just a nice stay.
Booking on line. Didn't know I was booking with the hotel directly! Gave details of credit card on booking. Then at the desk on arr I val. Then at check out. Once would have been enough I think!
Very obliging front desk people Central location
Charging for Wi-Fi $5 is dum You walk out the door and next open square it's free Short of towels and dining staff
Location was good and the rooms were clean.
This is the hotel that stood still as time went by. Looks very grand on the outside but that's where it ends. Ancient facilities. Not a patch on on its cousin in Hobart. Really needs a massive overhaul. Had a portable aircon unit in the room that made a huge racket. The shower left a lot to be desired too.
Comfortable, clean and spacious room. Corner room allowed views of the fireworks. Plenty of choices of food at buffet breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.
Could hear the bells ringing from nearby church (not that the hotel can help that!).
the room was large the room was clean the bathroom was huge service prompt and friendly
shower pressure non-existent - very low pressure rain shower maks it impossible to shampoo hair in a timely manner - you literally have to dance around to get wet
Staff were friendly and approachble.Rooms were a nice size, not pokey and dingy.
the room was spacious and the restaurant was great
Comfortable bed,big room, pleasant staff, paid to park but cheap enough for a city.
Breakfast is a bit expensive.
Fountain in the foyer
Very comfortable bed. Spacious room.
Air conditioner was quite noisy. Lighting was a bit dim.
The staff were so accommodating we arrived Christmas day and had 2 rooms booked. We noticed one of the rooms had an adjoining door so asked if we could move to the room next door and open the door. There was no problem and it made our stay so much more enjoyable.
Good room. Staff in restaurant were exceptional especially Richard
Difficulty with wi fi
Speed of check in and check out.
Having to pay for parking and WiFi
The beds were comfy, and the room was generally clean and tidy.
We booked and paid for four people but apart from the beds the room was set up for only two. Glasses, cups, towels etc. Also the fridge made some milk and cream we bought warm overnight and the aircon rattled like a 20 year old wall mount.
Room service was tasty.
The hotel just seemed a bit run down.
