We enjoyed the stay but found the room a little tired, particularly the cupboards. |

The staff were helpful, the location was very convenient. The room we were put in after the first night was very comfortable. The room we were put in on the first night was not acceptable and not at all to the standard we had booked. We arrived late at night after 14 or 15 hours in transit and did not need to deal with being given the wrong room. There were major renovations going on, and I hope the floor we were on had not been done yet, because the paint and fixtures were quite "tired". |

The location was excellent. Breakfast good value so overall happy with choice of accomodation. A little dated and the steps on the front entrance difficult when lifting luggage although staff were very helpful. |

Balcony/Open Windows, Location, Buffet Breakfast food selection, heated Pool, Bar & free canapes. Cheaper rooms are very uncomfortable, very dirty, very old. Commented on this to Reception, but still had to pay $30 to upgrade to a King room 2nd night and it was more comfortable and clean. Still not up to a standard of cleanliness I would expect at home (bathroom only). And, no flyscreens or bars on windows - very high drop, very unsafe, should be something on the windows - but was amazed we could open them and have fresh air - loved that part! |

We liked how close it was to the shopping district and the amount of quality restaurants that were near by. Most things that interested us were only a short walk away. We were a little disappointed in our room at first. But half way thru our stay we were given another room that had more space and was more up to date, we were much happier. |

A good loation for the business I go to Melbourne for. The set up is practical and the staff are first class. I have stayed there the last two times I have been in Melbourne. |

staff were friendly checked in went to do some shopping returned at 2 pm our room was ready, went up found that our baggage was not there we called reception and was told to come down to collect it ourself, then at around 3pm guy came into our room to do a mini bar check and refill, this should have been done prior to us checking in, at breakfast toaster was not working, coffee machine not working had to wait for a very small hot thermos of water to appear and then that only filled a few cups and was empty again, bathroom could do with a real good clean, top of tiles around skirting filthy upon check in asked for upgrade was told that had already been done, if that room was a upgrade we would love to have seen what the room was like that we had initially booked |

The staff was great and the location was great. Yes. There was a wet patch on the floor near the fridge, and the balcony was dirty and not cleaned and also the window. Not enough lights in the room considering it was in a corner and did not have much natural light. There was also some renovation noises going on during mid morning which was unpleasant. |

Liked the location and the extra service with storing bags etc. Didn't deserve 4 star rating. Rooms were small and dark and were not in the best state of repair. Balconies were tiny and clearly only there to say that the rooms had a balcony. |
