The location was perfect and the pool was really good, being on the roof. The bar staff were very efficient and friendly, as were the restaurant staff. We enjoyed our stay.
The bed was not as comfortable as we would have liked and the pillows were like lumps of rubber
Staff at front desk were very friendly and helpful
House keeping Very poor dirty tired bathroom, room rundown and supper small needs some investment just one step up from a B & B
Great location, comfy!
Clearly heard every single little thing that happened in the room next to us....
Staff were friendly and professional and the meal in the restaurant although not brilliant was nice and reasonably priced
Room was very small and stated balcony only had enough room for the air conditioning unit. Outside noise was was a constant throughout the the night and could not be blocked out and there was also a continual humming coming from some source all night which made sleep difficult. The room could also not be blacked out and the light from outside was streaming into the room again making sleep difficult. The room was old and out dated and not very well maintained
Staff were great, parking was super convenient, location great.
The hotel was a bit tired and the on-line advertising was a little misleading, it appears they might have used other hotels in their chain in the promotional materials so I was a little surprised by the condition of the hotel.
location swimming pool
lack of working order of hot/cold water in shower removal of smoke alarm due to steam coming from shower refrigerator not cooling no milk for coffee
The room was cleaned well every day The staff were friendly. Location to CBD is spot on ..
The lifts were playing up. The sink in room was clogged and would not drain.
so close to city centre, hops etc.
the bathroom was very old and tired.
Rooms were basic, yet clean and comfortable.
I'm still amazed by the number of places charging for wifi. Find a wifi hotspot if you want wifi, otherwise expect to pay!
Friendly and obliging staff, quiet, comfortable room, my stay was great value for money. The breakfast was delicious too!
helpful staff, room upgrade. Very clean and convenient to city. Late checkout.
Walking distance to central melbourne Roof top pool was the highlight, great sunrise in the morning with fantastic view of Melbourne
The view from the room was disappointing. Whilst we had a large balcony we were stuck in a alley way configuration, but really for $180 per night, i would have been surprised if their city views comment was true
Room was dated and needs upgrading
Location and staff
The room was lovely, very comfortable for our short stay
Centrally located in Melbourne CBd. Reception staff. Requested room on upper floor & got one.
Poor water pressure in shower & difficult to regulate - either too hot or too cold. Tv remote control worked intermittantly.
Location is great.
We Had to wait too long when we checked into our room over 30 mins. We had booked for an extra bed and when we got to our room there was no extra bed. Room was old looking! Pool had a lot of hair in it!
I did not have a good experience at this hotel. What you book and see on the we page is not what you get. At least not me. Service was slow and unhelpful. Charging for wifi even in public areas is not what to expect from a 4 star hotel. My card on the room didn't work several times also not Internet. I had to run up and down a lot. No one at the service asked about my visit or at least putting it in the general way ' hope you had a pleasant stay with us' just nothing. I travel a lot for work which I did during his visit as well. Next visit to Melbourne I will frankly choose an other hotel next time.
Loved their buffet breakfast.
When we first checked in they weren't up to date on our booking, they had to double check to see if our room was with breakfast included.
Air-conditioning box did not work so was unable to alter temperature, and the vent in the bathroom was incredibly loud - I had to keep the door closed
Was cheap enough
We had a rowdy group in the room next to us, we rang reception at 2:00 am and nothing happened and at 3:00am room service bought them more alcohol
A staff member was particulary rude to my boyfriend and i who regularly travel the globe staying in only 4 or 5 star plus accomodation..looking us up and down rudely calling out to us as we came back from a walk into the city and passed the desk to get to the elevator wanting to know what room number we were staying in..which was fine it was just how she went about it..when i said 170(i cant remember last digit but was on 17th floor looking out to big church from one window and city from other) she was really rude looking at us up and down like as if couldnt afford it or were lying..the look on her face when the computer confirmed it was priceless! Moving on from that i would like to comment how odd the window from the room into the bathroom was directly.facing the toilet..shower for sure-but toilet? Weird! Also the glass cups above bathroom sink is a silly place for them as i knocked one off and it smashed glass all over the floor and cut my finger! Aside from that it was great!
Great location, easy to get around the city.
My Bathroom was like being in 2 star hotel. My shower head was broken and would not stay up. The baths enamel was chipeed and broken quite severely causing me to cut my foot. When I informed staff about this at checkout ( I only stayed the 1 night ) there was no offer of any discount or waiving of any part of my payment. As someone who frequently travels from country Victoria to Melbourne this is not a place I would recommend.
The staff we're very friendly and made the check-in process seamless. The room was clean and very comfortable. Would definitely come back.
The location was great and the staff were friendly. Bed was comfy and room was clean!
For the price we paid I expected something much nicer than what we had-something with a spa/bath at least and maybe on a higher floor with better views. I wouldn't have liked to have paid full price for it! Also no room service breakfast :(
