Great location- close to CBD and restaurants. Staff from front office to housekeeping warm, friendly and welcoming.

Rooms are quite spacious, bathrooms immaculate, there's an outdoor balcony and huge bed, local beer in the minibar! I've stayed in Townsville a couple of times and this was by far the best place I've stayed. Will be coming back!

My room shared a common (locked) corridor with the neighbouring room, which was a little noisy at times (during the night it sounds like your neighbour is entering your room - woke me a couple of times). I realise this is something the hotel can't change as it's part of the design and probably allows for the larger rooms, so it's a small price to pay =)

The check-in staff - when they couldn't fulfill our request for a sofa bed room, called to discuss options. No request was too much hassle.

Didn't have the ability to change rooms as was full house - due to Groove in the Moo.

Your reception staff were excellent, better than any other accomm in Townsville by far !

Not enough pillows.

We had a 2 bedroom apartment, nice large clean room, fancy bathroom and very comfortable bed. Located right in the middle of all the restaurants.

Great facilities. 2Yo son stayed free of charge using the sofa bed in the lounge room. Unit cleaned daily, including the dishes (this was unexpected but pleasantly accepted). Concierge acknowledged us and our son every time, including giving him an Easter egg on Easter morning.

Very petty dislikes really.... No jug to put water in the fridge. And mini bar chocolates were restocked (although we had just moved them in the fridge away from our 2yo). We then decided instead of complaining, we will just eat the chocolates anyway :-)

the lady at the front desk was awesome, i wish that i could remember her name. Helped me with all of my enquires and booked taxi's for me. Friendly and efficient and a credit to you. She processed my booking, please pass on my thanks.

Balcony with sliding door was a critical reaons for choosing this hotel in this location. Ability to sit outside and let outside air into the room. The room layout and size was comfortable.

Location

The hotel position was excellent. We were able to walk to most of things; restaurants, shops, and across bridge to Flinders Street.

Great location and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Easy walking distance to a wide range of restaurants and cafes, the Flinders Street Mall and supermarket, and museums and attractions.

Couldn't get the volume on the TV in the lounge loud enough to hear. The sofa/bed was not comfortable to sit on. The washer/dryer in the apartment was dreadful. Once it was started the door locked and it couldn't be adjusted and the door couldn't be opened until it decided, which on one occasion was five hours!

location perfect We travelled with friends who are members with you, they got an upgrade room, so I would like to become a member also, as I have booked through you in the past

Apartments are amongst the nicest I have stayed in. Location was great for me, this level outside when you consider the location was very good. Refrigerator was far too small is my only criticism

The position and cleanliness as always

We were disappointed as we come home early to relax and watch a movie and until we buzzed reception to ask if we were doing something wrong with the tv were then told that due to changes in management there was no movie channel as well as no room service. I think that it was rather rude that we were not told of this on arrival and then it is the guest choice as to whether they want to stay or not. This is the 2nd time we have stayed and do really like it, but this would make us not want to stay again, and after we complained, were not even offered a discounted rate or anything.

Hotellin henkilökunnan mukaan JOKAISESTA verkkoon kytkettävästä laitteesta meni erikseen maksu, joka oli jo kohtuuttoman kova ihan yhdestäkin (22 AUD vuorokausi ja silti datalimiitti). Soitto palveluntarjoajalle korjasi asian, mutta se vaati paljon työtä.

Passable Lage, sauber, Restaurants und Cafes vor der Haustüre.

Am Wochenende war das identische Zimmer fast 3 mal so teuer wie wochentags. Zimmer zur Strasse sind sehr laut. Townsville gibt nicht allzu viel her.

Grand Hotel Townsville offered the sort of accommodation we were seeking - one bedroom apartment, superior security close to city, restaurants, supermarket, market, Strand for walking. Staff were friendly and accommodating.
