I had a great stay for one night. The studio was lovely and it was nice to have a private balcony. It is also within walking distance of the Hunter Valley gardens and village shops from which I did a lot of Christmas shopping. The only small negative would have been the smell of cleaner on arrival. Maybe the room could be aired beforehand? I opened the balcony door and that helped.

Room was excellent, large and well equipped. Very close 6 wineries, within walking distance. Plenty of eating choices but most only by driving to. The nearby Hunter Valley gardens were very impressive. The hotel gave a discount to guests to visit the gardens.

The staff were all very welcoming, professional yet down to earth and friendly..made you feel at home. Loved the location, it was nice and close to where we needed to be.. Hubby and I travelled up for a close family friend's wedding and made a nice break of it also. We were very comfy in our room..and just loooved the beautiful gardens which surrounded us. The air con was excelllllent when the mercury started to rise.. Very enjoyable for those nanna naps. The only negative thing I could say, which is not really a big thing, is that the curtains were iffy..and they wouldn't close all the way along, so every morning the sun shone in through gaps way too much for when you are trying to get a good relaxing sleep in..and woke us up. I feel for the amount of money we paid, we stayed in Room 306 - I think the room could be overhauled a little, definitely the curtains need replacing. Maybe a better coffee table for when you want to 'eat in' your room? To make it even more homely for those weekend getaways. It's the small things like that which really stand out..when you are paying over $300 per night for a room...you have expectations. But we had an awesome time, and would come back again - just thought I'd mention those small things as it could be helpful to you. Cheers Murray & Di
