On arrival there were problems with our booking. The room was also poor but the staff happily changed put us in another one. The air con was inadequate and the water hardly ran cold. We appreciate that the heat wave was early and exceptional but the combination of problems made us a little uneasy. The staff were friendly and helpful and l trust that the booking issues have been sorted out. |

There was nothing to like From the filthy dirty carpets in the hallways and the rooms to the stair access and the size of the room, there was plenty not to like. Add to that the rooms surrounding yours being painted, when you are an asthmatic and it is not a pleasant place to visit. |

The room size was good but we did pay extra for that. There was mould in the bathroom, the coffee machine at breakfast was very poor. The room was not what I would call deluxe which is what we were paying $260 per night for. And chargeing extra for parking is also poor with the price of the room. |

Food quality and service To be expected at the price; this room is very close to the air-con cooling tower and therefore noisy |

Close to the city Ensuite too small and not as clean as it could be. Stairs to and from the room to trying especially when loaded with suitcases would have preferred a room closer to the front of the hotel. |

The first hotel room was a budget booking and really quite poor - not very pleasant and right on the lane with a disco blaring. Rang reception and advised we needed sleep and to change rooms and ultimately got a room away from the noise and was quite satified with the quality (was upgraded thankfully) and cleanliness. The staff was extremely helpful in accomodating our request. Parking is atrocious - very cramped and not enough for the hotel guests - ended up parking at Convention centre with the cost being added to our account. |

The front desk staff were fantastic. The hotel was within walking distance of everything we wanted to do there was a nightclub underneeth our room and we had to move rooms at 1am due to the noise. the hotel staff moved us straight away but I dont think it is acceptable to put people in this position. |

It's close proximity to cultural attractions and restaurants in the city and to the river. Friendly cleaning staff. Staff that changed the room for us when the one we were shown was not what we wanted. The room that we were booked into was an internal room with windows covered in a plastic film to hide the "view". Artificial lighting was needed even during the day. Fortunately we were transferred to a better room on request. |

The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. It was very close to the tram stop and an overall convenient place within the city. It had a bit of a musty smell and we couldn't open any windows so I felt a bit claustrophobic. However the staff were really great and they tried to help us out with this. |

The reception staff were very helpful and the hotel was very handy to all transport. Having a double bed against the wall made it difficult to get in and out. |

I had a standard room (officially it is 4 star hotel, standard rooms are 3 star!), which was "at the end of the world"! I had to cross some corridors on the 4th floor and some additional steps to reach my room. The room was quite spacious and well equipped, but it didn't have safe. The bathroom was very small and could be renovated. I didn't like the location of the room and the small bathroom. The buffet breakfast was quite expesive. 28 AUD. |

The standard of the room is very low and should not be sold as a Mercure. It is not in the interest of booking.com to continue selling this kind of room because you are damaging your good reputation |

Very disappointed. The carpet was very worn and old. Three stars hotels have better carpets than this hotel. For our first stay, the room was too small (the smallest room we have stayed and we can hardly move in the shower without turning the taps) and we have to sleep under the curtains. The bed should be moved so that the curtains are on the side and not above the eyes when guests sleep. |

I only stayed the one night but I did like the cleanliness and quietness of the room. Check-out was a little slow and finding my way from one room to another was a little confusing with their myriad of hallways. |

Central location - great for accessing Adelaide but to get to our room we had to take the lift then walk through the building, down some stairs to another part of the hotel - obviously a much older part of the hotel ... and a long way to carry our bags. All night the vibration and noise from a nearby night club bombarded us - it started early and was still going when we left at 5am for our early morning flight. |
