Hanlon House  

An amazingly appointed house with an even more amazing host! Her local knowledge, warm welcome, and preparation of breakfast during our stay were amazing. The location is also excellent being close to some great restaurants as well as The Nut.

I can not find fault with our stay.

Our hosts were warm, friendly and professional with their attention to detail; meeting our every need. Our room had an amazing view. The king size bed with quality linen was very comfortable. On our arrival Maxine prepared a cheese platter and cuppa for us. The breakfast would put most restaurants to shame. We would highly recommend this amazing B&B to anyone who appreciates quality accommodation in the most wonderful location.

Not a thing.

The Hanlon House hosts, Maxine and Graham, were very welcoming and obliging. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the guest's lounge had an open fire lit for our return after dinner at a nearby restaurant. There was also complimentary port and tea and coffee available there. A request for an early morning cup of tea was not a problem and was served on a tray for delivery to my room. Breakfast was home-cooked, made to order and delicious!

The location was excellent, close to beach and narural features. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfasts were superb, and the breakfast room had a fine ambience.

My only minor criticism would be that the bedroom was a little too cluttered with furniture, with not enough space for the visitor to unpack.

Nothing

Loved the hospitality on arrival. Loved the breakfast and the evening viewing of wildlife. Loved the close access to restaurants, the nut and the beach.

Limited seating in room (only one). Furniture quaint but not useful. Mirror too low to be useful and writing desk too low with poor lighting.

The owners are a lovely couple, very friendly and welcoming. An extensive menu of delicious breakfasts! Rooms are spacious and so they are the bathrooms It is a very quiet area, at 2 minutes walk to the beach

Lovely old comfortable home with beautiful room and ensuite. Lovely choices for breakfast.

My husband did not like that he could not make himself a cup of tea after returning from restaurant. We also felt a little intrusive as it was also the owners own home as well. We appreciate that not everyone would feel like this, but we did.

The hosts made us feel pampered.

Friendly and welcoming b&b owners. Attention to detail and consideration for guests. Facilities were excellent.

we loved it all: our hosts were welcoming, great company and provided many additional luxuries and lots of information about the house and local history as well as great places to walk and where to go to eat. The house and our room were exceptional - furniture, linen and all sorts of additional features including a carafe of port beside the spa! We were very excited to meet the fairy penguins at the bottom of the garden- thank you Graham and Maxine's breakfasts were amazing.

What's not to like about Hanlon house? Great place, friendly hosts, nothing is too much trouble, fantstic vista, close to everything within Stanley, and the food was unbelievable! Can I live there please?

Absolutely everything, from the perfect hosts, immaculate facilities, amazing breakfasts and the beauty of the location.

Nothing - loved the whole experience

The owners were so welcoming and friendly. Special touches like candles alight in the hallway and lounge at night. Roaring log fire to relax in front of after a hectic day. Magnificent breakfasts! Good quality bed linen and towels. A lovely warm atmosphere.

This place was fabulous. It was recommended to us and was as wonderful as promised. Maxine and Graham were superb, friendly and helpful hosts. The house was beautifully restored and presented. Our room was large and well-appointed. And the breakfasts with a stunning view - both were to die for. We loved Hanlon House and will recommend it to anyone heading to Stanley.

Wunderschönes B&B in toller Lage, sehr schöne Zimmer. Alle Zimmer sind individuell gestaltet. Sehr nette Gastgeber.

Mit AUD 195 pro Zimmer schon relativ teuer, aber es lohnt sich trotzdem. Bei Sonntags-/Feiertagsanreise haben keine Restaurants offen, nur ein Fish&Chips Bude - muß man wissen wegen möglicher Selbstversorgung.
