The Manager was on the phone when I arrived. He ends the call and then proceeds to tell me what was not working in the room. I agree things happen, can't be helped. However, that was the first thing that came out of his mouth. My first impression, not very welcoming conversation. However, he seemed to be friendly.

Cleanliness was good.
Noticed that poor type of tiles in the bathroom and kitchen - easily stained. Didn't like a threatening note left on kitchen cabinet, if the occupier does not put a towel underneath the dishes, whilst the dishes are draining, occupier will be liable for any stain left on the bench. The tiles were already of poor quality and already stained and obviously the tiles were not suitable for a commercial property. Don't blame the occupier.
