Large room with a balcony and a two person spa. Very comfortable with all necessary amenities. Helpful staff and great location
Not very modern for somewhere that is 4 star but makes up for it with greay value for money
Room very comfortable Spa was great, nice balcony looking onto the forest Breakfast was delicious
the manager was friendly and most helpful the best continental breakfast in margaret river the fiiting out and furniture was tastful and confortable love the forest ambience
Perfect location, great sized rooms and breakfast was reasonable (and included!)
The Lodge was in a great place, conveniently located. The breakfast each morning while simple was an excellent example of what you can find in the region. The room as well was lovely. I would definitely recommend staying here
I like the accommodation; easy vicinity to many attractions in the area and the friendly staff. Very comfortable rooms; second time I have been there in the last year and I am recommending Heritage Trail Lodge to some one else.
Excellent hospitality from the hosts. Very comfortable beds. Will definitely recommend to others.
In spite of wall heaters, it was hard to keep warm and cosy on cold winter's nights
Situated in a lovely location, the environment surrounding the lodge was very green and pretty. The staff were helpful and friendly and the bed was the most comfortable bed myself and my boyfriend have ever slept in! Great stay and will return!
There was in-room crockery and cutlery available but there was only one microwave, in the main lounge, which was small and well out of date. You're in the premium wine area of Australia and the fridge didn't have any complimentary wine or access to it on site. You need to drive into town to get something. The only indication of a "welcome" was a single chocolate on the bed! There was no hot food breakfast option and Breakfast was available only from 8:30am which is too late for those needing to get back to Perth for a flight. In any case, if there's no hot food, what's the point of opening so late. You could have 24 hr help yourself. The Wi-Fi didn't work. The room, while serviceable and clean, is in substantial need of updating. It was very musty on arrival. If you're paying nearly $300 per night and you're in a premium tourist area, one would expect a much higher standard. It was basically a motel. Overpriced.
The conservatory, large spa bath, large rooms, trail walk behind, supply of many pillows and friendly staff members.
Bathroom can be updated, reverse cycle aircon didn't seem strong enough to heat the room up.
We loved so much about Heritage Trail Lodge. The owners were friendly and helpful from the get-go. Surrounded by the forrest, it was just a beautiful location. The room was spacious and the decor perfect for such a location. We really enjoyed our stay.
We were staying in the disabled access room which was fine except for the bed. The "king bed" was just two single mattresses pushed together and meant the separation of the two mattresses was VERY noticeable and uncomfortable. I would definitely stay here again but would make sure we were in another room first.
Great location, close to walking trails and only walking distance from town. Room was comfortable and clean, perfect if you want to stay in and relax. Continental breakfast had a great variety of locally sourced food. Staff were friendly and helpful. There are a variety of maps and brochures available to ensure that you don't run out of things to do!
The owners of the heritage Trail were amazing couldn't do enough for us. Best experience would really recommend !!!
Nothing amazing experience!!!
Everything abut this Lodge was lovely. Location was perfect and room was lovely and the view amazing.
If I had to choose just one thing it would be the water pressure in the shower but honestly that's just cause I had to choose something
We were welcomed on arrival and shown to our room. This was a nice personal touch rather than just given your keys and sent on your way. We received a bottle of champagne for our wedding anniversary this was a lovely gift. Breakfast was included and well presented with plenty of choice available.
I would return to this lodge except for the beds . Everything else was great .
The beds were uncomfortably sift . I could not use a pillow and did not sleep well at all.
Great atmosphere and perfect location! Staff were so friendly. I have recommended it to my friends already :)
The intimate setting The cozy and welcoming check in area The suite that we booked was warm, beautifully decorated and a great size The small touches like the bathrobes, TV guide, DVD facility, restaurant and winery guides We have recommended this place to friends who have booked to stay at Heritage Trail this weekend
Location was excellent. Rooms were clean and well presented. Service is good!
The notice in the Spa bath is a bit of a cheap shot - if you don't want guests to use water take the Spa out: Don't advertise a Spa and then discourage guests from using it. Breakfast is insufficient if you don't each cereals.
The atmosphere was perfect; relaxed and comfortable, quiet and private. Just far enough out of town to feel like a retreat, but a short enough walk to forget the car when it came to sampling the great food and wine that the town has to offer. The buffet 'continental' breakfast, all sourced from local providers (yoghurts, breads, jams etc.) was delicious.
How thoughtful and personal the staff were. The location, the room itself and the double spa /)
Very cosy setting amongst the bush. Room was perfect for us.
Hardly any places or services take eftpos. Obviously not hotel fault.
Beautiful location with beautiful gardens and fish ponds. The breakfast was very enjoyable. Thankyou
We found the accommodation excellent value, beautiful setting and so close to the town, we cant wait to go back.
Outlook of room to forest behind
Facilities were old eg couldn't play our DVD on player. Room felt in need of a re-furb.
