Clean, easy access, comfortable, decent bathroom

Convenient and location friendly

It is in a great spot, close to all shops. The room was an excellent room, good size , nice balcony, and the room was very clean and modern.

The shower door was to close to the sink. I nearly broke the shower door when I opened it.

It was a bit cramped inside. Would not be confortable to stay there for more then a couple of weeks for more than 1 person as it is quite cramped It is a bit of a trek to the city center if you are not familiar with the tram system (it takes 1.5hrs to walk in - not recomended if you are not a walker) A little strange that there is no reception. I had to call to find out what to do about a late checkin - not sure what would have happened if I didn't pre arrange this

It's location was great. Loved that parking was part of the package. It felt really secure and the apartment was really clean.

Hated the bedroom and the size of the apartment in general. We were glad that we had the balcony to get out on and enjoy the space there. The furniture may have suited the style of the apartment, the actual size made enjoying being in the space quite uncomfortable. The size of the bed in the bedroom made it impossible to get to the other side of the bed or put things into the wardrobe with ease. Was very disappointing.

Good location, very easy to get into the CBD as the train less than a 10 minute walk and St Kildare easy to reach by tram. Location had incredible choice of cuisines within a few minutes walk. Area quite funky (even if we were easily the oldest people in the area!) We booked on line and last minute, so were pleased with our choice. Apartment convenient with good facilities - wifi included. Being ever practical (and having been travelling for a couple of weeks) the washing machine and dryer were very welcome. Good to have the balcony as some outdoor and private space. Bed very comfortable. Great to have secure undercover parking at no additional cost and the building security was good.

Bedroom rather a tight fit for such a large bed - squeezing past the wardrobes was rather a challenge! We weren't sure how to access the apartment when we arrived, cost us a phone call at International rates (as only had UK mobiles with us) to discover how to get in - needs advice in confirmation email. We were initially given the 'wrong' apartment - the smaller one bed instead of the slightly larger one, but this was quickly rectified in a very good natured way (but at cost of second call)

Hot water service was not adequate for warm shower,The room i booked online with confirmation was changed to a lesser standard at the point of arrival,although the price was adjusted i didnt have any other option but to take the downgrade or be without accomodation for the night. It would have been good business foremost for this not to have happened but even better business to have offered the downgrade at a lesser amount than advertised to compensate for the miss management .

location was excellent - easy to catch either a tram or train into Melbourne. also the area had many cafes and bars which was great.

The location is great and the receptions service was outstanding.a Very clean and elegant apartment. The sort of place u look forward to re visiting. It was perfect for my partner and I. As a young couple we enjoyed walking down chaple street for breakfast and shopping as it was so close. The train station is just down the road so the city is only minutes away on train. We will be back for sure!

It's location

- When we arrived the keys weren't available in the security box and by chance we bumped into a member of staff who wasn't able to immediately provide any information on our room or the location of the keys. We had arrived on time (2.45pm) - Eventually (by now 3.20pm) this member of staff found our correct room, however the room still hadn't been cleaned and was therefore unable to be occupied. We decided to go out and come back later - The bathroom was grubby and hadn't been cleaned properly - The whole room smelled of cigarette smoke (despite being non-smoking) and had cigarette ash throughout - At about 8pm the person who had shown us the room earlier (who was also the 'cleaner') entered the room unannounced, thinking we would not be there. An explanation wasn't provided. - When I notified Karen by email (who aparently was involved in customer service) explaining all of the above I didn't get a response Due to the lack of cleanliness it was uncomfortable spending time in the apartment. Extremely dissapointed. I will not be recommending Hiigh Apartments to anyone.

Too small

I chose these apartments due to the location. The rooms were very clean and bed comfortable however I found the actual size of the apartment to be very small. the location is excellent - so close to everything. Would probably stay there again unless I could find some other place with larger rooms.

Design Location Convenience

Some initial problems with working the heater. Remote control had batteries incorrectly inserted but worked fine after this. Initial problem finding out how to lower the outside canapy. By chance found the remote in cupboard above fridge. On arrival the Dishwasher was almost full (presumably from the last guests) and had many glasses/dishes which had been washed but were not clean. No dishwash tablet was found under the sink. We purchased some dishwash tablets and ran the dishwasher again to clean all the dishes. The general level of cleanliness was not high eg. The coffee table was sticky and we needed to wipe it down, there was a lot of dust in cupboards. Bathroom door handle seemed to be broken? - there was just a screw, no handle or knob.

My partner and myself enjoyed The apartment feel and how nice n modern everything was.

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment and it was more like a studio with an extra wall my partner is quite tall n kept hitting his feet against the wall all night. Also the hot water wasnt hot enough.

Very clean, good location, secure underground parking and allthough apartments are small they are well deigned with very good fixtures and fittings and a nice balcony with great views.

Electric fireplace did not work, but luckily r/c a/c did.

The location was good and under cover parking was a huge advantage

Lack of tea towel, coat hangers and a broom

I stayed at the high apartments for only one night and my stay was suppose to be 2 night. Throughout the whole night I was hearing noises and was very freaky - I left the next day and booked myself another room.. I lost out on my money for the second night, not only that had to get new accomodation which I was absolutly not happy about!!! i phoned the manager on duty, explaining my situation and said he couldnt do anything about!! How disgusting!!! so NO i will NEVER be staying with at the high apartments again, nor will i reccommend my work colleges to be staying there. We travel to melbourne many many times in one month and im never staying there again.

The personlised touches like a small DVD collection and books and the guide provided about facilities in the area. The apartment was spacious, roomy and had a great little balcony. Very friendly people who reside at the apartment and the owner was very helpful and nice.

Some parts of the apartment weren't very clean. It was more an attention to detail thing, like the grit build up around the sink and stove, the walls were dirty and there was a dirty bath mat (caked with makeup).

Suited my need to be where my son was living.

All good. Only stayed one night.
