-staff service -breakfast (except coffe)
- pillows and mattress - cosmetics
Friendliness, helpful, nothing was a problem.
Room quality Location General high quality hotel throughout
The view over the city, fantastic
The bed was too soft, as were the pillows
great amenities, good sized room, great location.
Bedlinen too hot. Suggest cotton blankets be also available for those who wish to sleep lighter.
Nice enough for a 4.5 star hotel. Not impressed with having to pay for wifi, which I needed for work. Even the DFO next door had free wifi! Will not stay again for that reason.
Every thing, location, cleaniness, concierge service was superb, proximity to outlet shoping, food courts and quality restaurents.
Breakfast quality needs improvement.
Nice rooms, comfortable beds and unobtrusive service from friendly staff. Great breakfast.
It would be great if the coffee shop was open later into the evening. Coffee available from the bar but a more informal venue would be appreciated by groups of colleagues.
Room was excellent, staff were excellent, overall experience was supurb.
Not so sure about the advised parking arrangement, but got by.
Friendly yet professional staff.
Wi Fi should be complimentary for guests.
Incredible bed, just amazing.
Air con issues.
Breakfast at this hotel is amazing! Very good sized rooms with good views. Nice and relaxed atmosphere.
Even with air con on the coolest dial the room was a little warm in the morning with the sun streaming in.....Bed was a little to hard for me, but that's a personal preference.
The Executive Lounge
Having to leave.
Very comfortable beds, the bath, the view, being on the spot for our three day conference so we didn't have to brave the cold and rain getting from hotel to conference venue, good eateries close by and DFO right next door!
The staff were always helpful, happy and polite. The bed was incredibly comfortably and the room very quiet. Access to the executive lounge is worth the premium.
I really can't fault this hotel.
Very comfortable bed and black out blind assured a great nights sleep.
I was visiting Melbourne for a conference and wanted to stay somewhere convenient. This hotel is connected internally to the convention centre allowing me to nip back there between sessions. The hotel is also next to the DFO and a short walk to South Bank.
WiFi was not included in the room rate.
Quiet room, convenient location for the activities i was involved in
A little out of the cbd
The Staff were friendly, efficient and competent. I stayed at the Hilton for a conference and I was impressed with the standard of service and facilities.
location overall hotel is great
Loved being on 18th floor view in executive suite was amazing , my daughter booked for me being my Birthday Hilton gave my husband and I bottle Champane felt very special it's the little things that make you even more happy Thank You
The lady who checked us in was lovely and organised for breakfast to be brought up to our room as my husband had a knee operation two weeks prior so it was nice not have to have the hassle of going down for breakfast.
I was told to have our breakfast menus on the door handle by 12 midnight as they come and collect them. We returned from our night out at 2pm and the menus were still there. I tried to call down to the desk using the 'magic' button and it was engaged. This was for about 15 minutes so then I tried calling from an external line calling into the hotel and was on hold for 20 minutes! Needless to say I was not happy! I went down to the desk and told them what happened and it seemed like they didn't care so that made me even angrier plus they said that some one was there the hole time so it made me feel silly. The next morning breakfast came which was great but I had to call the 'magic' button again to have our paper delivered. I feel for the money we spent on the room overall the service was very poor and wouldn't stay there again. I was very disappointed.
Good location for exploring Yarra River restaurants
Could do with more staff on reception at busy times
